Haha, that's pretty crazy, looking forward to seeing it. Cabinet is from Muurame (www.muurame.com).

My girlfriend is intrigued, she thinks that one of those would be nice for our livingroom. How much was that cabinet? Did you get that from Espoo or someplace else?

Is that 22''?

Almost done with my setup. Need a coffee table and more shelves from Ikea to replace the junker holding the Triple, 360, and Wii on the right and some speaker stands.

Took some new pics, might as well post them in this thread.

spelrum4.jpg

Two systems connected, PS2 and a PS3.

TV is a Bravia 32" V2000
Speakers: Logitech Z-5500 Digital

spelrum3.jpg

My main computer

19" LG monitor
Pentium 4 3.4GHz
1024MB PC4300 RAM
GeForce 6800 256MB

Sounds like a Jet-engine when it is put under stress. :/ I still play on it though, latest game Silent Hunter 4.

spelrum2.jpg

Linux Ubuntu PC - dualboots Windows XP

19" HP monitor
1.83 GHz Intel Celeron
512 MB RAM
GeForce 6600 passive cooling

Use this computer mostly for surfing but also some LAN play, like Victoria EUtS.

spelrum1.jpg

Got myself a laptop! Very nice I think.

17" 16:10 screen
Intel Core 2 Duo, 1.83 GHz
1024MB PC4200
GeForce 7600 Go

yeah thats a vizio...I looked at that model last weekend..the contrast ratio wasn't very high

Once you tune the shit out of it, it's fine. In fact, it's more than fine. I'm getting the 32" for my desk and another 42" for the living room. Anyone bashing the Vizio, given the cost, is out of their ****ing mind.

You really should find another place for the PS3, it looks like it doesn't have enough "breathing" room on top.

Those cabinets (I've got 2 in the bedroom and a giant bookshelf with doors in the workingroom involving 12 cabinets - 4 x 3) were my single most expensive furniture investment ever. I think all together, legs, doors, shelfs etc . - the 18 cabinets I have in 3 rooms set me back over 3Keur. But I did it same time when buying my flat so i didn't "feel the cost". So, taking a wild guess, I'd say the livingroom one you see in the pics was about 800 eur. Remember you can build any combination you want, so you don't need to do the 4x1 and 2x1 you see in my pics.

They were from Espoo's Vepsäläinen, but the service there is crap especially for young people, so you better check out if Artek of somebody decent sells the..

Here is my PC and 360 desk gaming set up.

My main console gaming set up is here.

Got the M8752BDX just yesterday so still messing around with the settings trying to find the setup for the picture.

ok, here are a couple of my latest setup. I had been using white stand and tables but the new Samsung 4665f 1080p LCD is so frickin black I adjusted a bit.

I may back up a bit and get a wider shot but for now this will have to do.

Cant really see the center channel KEF speaker in front of the Samsung 4665f LCD. Its too black I guess. Also, I was thinking of going white tv bench with white sofa and OS chair might look even better. But think I am satisfied for now.

My blu ray and hd dvd collection...360 games, and the little stand for terrastation and components. Should move them into the tv stand but for some reason like it better this way for now.

I swear to god. Japanese bachelor apartments have zero potential for decor. Oh god, I really need to move out of this place. :S

What do you think about the Z-5500? I've been looking for a nice speaker set for my room and my eye is fixed on this one, but I'd like to read some first hand impressions before I actually buy it.

then some of you wonder why your 360's die, look how crammed they are :S

I don't think there are any on the last three pages that are too cramped for space.

Maybe they should call a builder and have a separate room built especially for their 360s

What are those cool little speakers? I need some kind of audio system for my PC but I hate large speakers covering my desk and dealing with a whole load of cables. Something compact and simple like that would be very practical

Yeah, stupid consumers! Always expecting really expensive pieces of equipment to be usable under normal conditions and not have to re-engineer their homes to suit goddamned airflow.

Crammed next to other electronics and having books/blankets and shit overtop doesn't count as "regular usage". This isn't the atari age, these systems need to breathe in and out.

Ps3 and Wii seem to be doing just fine under the same conditions and none have blankets over the top of them

Please stop now

Those are JBL Creature II , I like their small design, and they do pack a punch for how small they are.

I remember seeing those somewhere. Almost 100% sure they're from JBL

edit: fah, beaten :P

This is my humble room/setup at the moment. I live by myself (I'm a poor student by the way) and A LOT of my games and consoles are in storage at my parent's place, so I only have my essential games right here. Enjoy.

My very temporary, very messy systems setup (not all shown);

My 360 was exiled to my goban for now, as I haven't played a game of go in two months and I needed a place to put it :)

I was going to ask why the wired controller, but after just replacing the batteries on my 360 controller a sad face came over myself.

It's stupid they don't include the charging cord, like the PS3 does, but it is worth the $15 or whatever it is.

Why is your sub woofer on the shelf?

It was a temporary placeholder for the systems, but it's been fixed now. I'll post the new setup when I get back home after work in the morning.

HDTV = Not now. Had to quit a job, and being a magazine managing editor type person doesn't pay well.

A bit messy, sorta? Kinda. Whatever.

Oh, and yes, there is a HD on that 360. Core was all I could get at launch.

I dont have much experience in the audio side of things, before I got these speakers I had a nice 2.1 setup. :) To me they sound awesome, powerful subwoofer and very distinct surround sound (if set up properly).

Well woth the money I paid for them.

Thanks, I guess I'll take the plunge and order them soon.

this seems like a good place to ask: What type of cord management system are you guys using? Specifically - does anyone have a good recommendation for a system that doesn't require drilling into walls and so forth?

I just got some of that corrugated tubing from Ikea and hid it behind some drapes. Works perfect for me.

Anyway finally finished, but didn't take too many pictures before I had to sleep before work tonight, plus my camera wouldn't read my CF card for the longest time.
