Horse Detective
Why the long case?
Nice! Reminds me of Tabris's setup.
Poang + footstool rocks. I've got a pair in my "media room" (aka game room with projector) & love 'em for the price.
My old employer supplied that as the couch in a house they owned when they sent me out of town for 4 months a few years ago. It wasn't very comfortable.I have been wondering if I should buy three of these or go for the

It's basically a sofa bed, costs a little more than the Poang but I was wondering if it is in fact more comfortable.

My basement is finally (almost) done, been working on it on and off for over five years.
I'll start upstairs, in the family room:
As far as consoles, just the Wii in here (mainly for floor space)

Now heading down the stairs to the basement

This room took forever since I had no idea how to finish a basement and had to learn along the way. I've been collecting this stuff since before the Jackets played a single game.
And yeah, I already know the team sucks, so please don't remind me.![]()
Nice interior

PS3 is in the other room, but connected to this tv - awesome while watching movies.
Just have to get rid of some of the cables (and the DSL box) and change up the decoration a little bit...
Okey, thanks alot! I'll probably go for 3 Poangs.
I have made the conclusion that this is the most popular chair on neogaf

for all colors: http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/search/?query=poang&category=products&min_price=78&max_price=80
saw that in person was mad ugly and looked cheap.
Poangs are decent, but uh... I dunno. They're not great or anything. I'd rather spend the money for 3 Poangs on one really nice chair.
Anybody has experience with this model? Its only 349 euro

I dunno about that one in particular, but I tried sitting on the KIVIK, and it was actually pretty comfortable. I think that's a lower-priced one, too.
That is one tasty desk, where did you get it? Is it available in Europe?
Also, nice set up ^^ Like the minimalistic style.
Thank You! I actually built it.
Then it's even more impressive. I've been trying to find a store with nice table tops but no luck.
This one is an Ektorp, looks studier than the sofa bed. Too bad Ikea is so far away, else I could just test them all out ^^
But I'll probably stick to this one for now, unless someone has a better alternative.
Long gaming sessions need comfy sitting!

I ended up using some reclaimed wood.
I personally find it pretty uncomfortable to sit three full grown men in a three-seat sofa.
I would totally go for three chairs instead if possible. Combined with a footstool that chair is really comfy.

Mac users always have such nice, clean spaces. I strive for it but can never reach that level of minimalism/simplisticity.
Really nice piece that isMaybe I'll look in that direction from now on. Would give it even more of a unique touch.

You mean the Poangs?![]()
Also, consider Ikeas Numerar Butcher block tops. I almost went that route, but I do not really like butcher block.
I had that exact couch, purchased it 2 months ago. The pillows are all lumpy and you need to build the couch yourself. Overall it feels very cheap. Would not recommend.

Just found pics of my old vintage-themed apartment, which I shared with my ex-girlfriend. Unfortunately she didn't take any pics of the entertainment area, other than the corner with the hospital bed.

Thanks. Tabris' setup has been my main inspiration, as well as some other setups from previous years gaming setup threads. Needless to say it isn't even half as amazing as Tabris' setup, but I'm pretty pleased considering my bare bones budget, the fact that I'm still a student and this being my first apartment.Nice! Reminds me of Tabris's setup.
Haha. I'm kind of surprised actually considering the vast majority of the interior is straight out of IKEA. Though I also always seem to be able to tell when someone is Dutch based on their photos. I think it's the lighting. It's funny that without looking at your name I could tell this was a Dutch interior. This was confirmed by seeing tweakers.net on your screen and of course, your name![]()
Where I live on sun just doesn't cut it.Double sun? XD
Haha yeah I noticed the shirts when I gathered the old photos. If you look closely you can see that they're not the same though.wow, that shirt has been there for 2 months ?
how do you guys ALL have parquets ? ...envious.
i wanted one for my new house but had to give up for many reasons
Awesome tv stand! I have the same ;-)Well here goes. First up my current setup:
