Morning. I just can't feel clean if I don't. And it acts as a great demarker for the proper start of my day.

If I have a shower/bath the night before I don't start feeling 'dirtier' until around lunchtime, but not as 'clean' as washing in the morning.

If I exercise though, I always shower afterwards, whenever it is. I tend to exercise in the morning, mind.

I would prefer to take it at night but sadly it's not an option for me since I get severe bedhead that makes me look like a super saiyan when I wake up so I have no choice but to take it in the morning. I'm not taking two showers a day unless I work up a sweat or did something specific that made me dirty that day.

Who climbs into bed stinking of day sweat only to sleep in it? Y'all are disgusting dortbirds that need a prison shower

Living up to your name/avatar! 😉
Like I said, I sweat while I sleep just like my father. I already have to use a mattress protector, and wash my bedding more than normal. I am forced to take a shower in the morning due to my genetics, I have no reason to take an additional shower after work unless I'm particularly nasty.

No need to explain, I was just kidding with you! Everyone’s body is different! I can get really sweaty too! Especially summer! I really do sweat like a pig those months! 🤣

A shower wakes me up. A bath makes me sleepy.
It's become more therapeutic for me which has made it relaxing. I rarely take a shower in the morning, I mean maybe once a year. It's come down to a routine for me, during the night.

I've become high maintenance with my skin care routine. This has been a on going thing since I was a teenager, but when I met my wife she introduced me to a world of things I wasn't using. Not like face mask (but I do them here and there) or anything but better products.

If it was at the office, once in the morning and once when I get home before dinner.

But WFH, I do it once per day at random times. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes at lunch. Depends when I get up. If it's the summer and get home filthy, I shower before bed too.

When I used to work at place where I do a lot of manual labor and get really sweaty and dirty I get in shower as soon as I get home!
You don't even have to do manual labour to feel gross. Just going to work in the summer heat is enough to make everyone sweaty and gross by the time they get home from work. Or when I I used to take public transportation to go to university way back, and standing at a bus stop or being sardined in a subway was crazy gross.

I dont understand how anyone can come home from work or school in sweaty filthy conditions and not shower until the next day.

Their clothes, bedding, and pillowcase must be brown with stains.

It really depends on your definition of feeling gross, I work in a Cleanroom environment with air system kept dusk free and kept pretty cool about 65-70 degrees! I wear frock over my clothes! Which keeps my cloths clean.

I use to work at textile mill and then as machinist total opposite end of spectrum from a Cleanroom environment. After work from those jobs I can get really dirty and sweaty, I head straight home and shower!

I’m a sweater(you can really see me sweat when I eat my favorite Pho soup 😂 even in cold winter) but working in Cleanroom environment I rarely sweat! When I say I feel gross is when I can feel my body temperature rising from my pores not open due dried sweat! This tends to happen quicker to me if I don’t shower in morning and showering in morning also helps me wake up! Especially during week days I only average 5-6hrs sleep. lol

Only at night. I found taking a shower in the morning takes too long. I just drink some coffee to wake myself up in the morning.

Pre-COVID, morning only. Post-COVID, it varies. If I am to leave the house, I definitely have to shower or I feel gross. But with WFH on a work day I typically save the shower for mid-day. Rather have the extra sleep time before logging on for work and the mid-day shower recharges me for the afternoon.

Both, I am a two shower a day person. Always one in the morning, and then another either after a workout or shortly before bed.

Always in the morning, preferably after the morning shit and workout.

Sometimes at night too, in the summer or if haxan7 haxan7 is coming over

Was about to make a thread for this, but found out that one already exists, so mega bump.

I used to be a morning shower kind of guy during my school days. In my work life though, I highly prefer evening or night showers (depending on whether I'm going out with friends or going to sleep).

Most of the time only in the morning. I can't just get out of bed and put clothes on. I feel disgusting when I wake up.

Depends on the weather too. During summer I might shower both morning and night. Sometimes I might just shower at night instead of morning.

Also depends what I'm doing. If I feel nasty enough then I will shower before bed. But yeah majority of the time only in the morning.

People that don't shower in the morning probably smell bad. I work with people that look like they don't shower and are very greasy.

Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was.
Both. But If I have to choose, which I occasionally do, it's night.

If I don't shower in the morning I don't feel right the whole day. I'm really oily, so my face looks oily and my hair will start to look wet by noon.

Every morning and as needed otherwise. If you're ok interacting with people the next day covered in your sleep-accrued filth, good on you I guess.

They probably smell like body spray.

I do in the morning to wake myself up. Sometimes at the end i turn the water to ice cold and stand there for a few seconds. That’ll wake you up!

I can't function during the day without a morning shower. I never feel right without one.

I'll add a night shower during the summer when I've been sweating on and off throughout the day.

Middle of the afternoon before work for me, but I'm on a weird schedule. I have to shower before work, I have naturally curly hair and a shower is the only way to tame it.

I switched from morning to evening showering a couple of months ago and I'm never going back.

It's a great way to unwind and wash away the working day, and going to bed fresh and clean just feels so good. Plus it saves me time in the morning.
