Rematch brings a fresh take on football with immersive third-person action, skill-based gameplay, and intense online competition. Team up with your friends and tackle, dribble, aim, and shoot your way to victory in fast-paced 5v5 matches where every move matters.

Looks like it could be fun.
But after Sifu I was hoping for another single player game.

This is not what I want from them after Sifu, what the actual fuck? You guys had some talent, now you are making some generic arcadey soccer/football game? These guys should be working on a John Wick game or something.

Thats what happens when devs focus on greed instead of delivering high quality product, this game gonna vanish after launch just like 100 similar ones :p

I legit don't understand what goes through some developer's heads when I see stuff like this.
They played one of the EA ‘Street’ games back when arcade sports was at it’s absolute peak on Playstation 2, and they said ‘let’s try our hand at that’.

Could be good actually. Not sure where the negativity is coming from here.
Quite a few posters here like it when developers are put into a box. So if you make an action game it’s expected of you to make more. Same with fighting games. Same with shooters.

At least the Yakuza team isn’t catching as much flak developing a Virtua Fighter game.

Which other 100 similar ones??? There are only two soccer games. FC and Pro Evo. Both suck imo.
This isn't regular football. This looks more like fantasy five-a-side. Like Mario strickers, pure football, fifa street etc. They didn't do that well otherwise they would still be around.

Fifa Street did great.

Fifa did better, EA only focused on the BIG money. That's the reason these types of games aren't around.
They didnt understand you could make a game like this and sell cosmetics to make a profit.

This makes me pine for another Sega Soccer Slam game...

Another awesome arcade soccer game that I do miss.

Your link is busted but I assume it's from some past era (like 360) and later games fizzled out and became irrelevant. Otherwise it would still be a thing today.

I’m not feeling the backgrounds and the camera, but this is something that’s been missing from the market for a while. The strive for maximum realism and simulation in football games all but wiped out any vaguely realistic-looking arcade footy game left at the beginning of the 2010s.

I hate soccer, I hate online multiplayer games, but for some reason this seems really well done and fun. Probably not something I'll play, but i can see it beeing a moderate success at launch with rooms for a growth.
