Are these mix CDs, or CDs with discrete audio tracks. i'm 99.9% it's the former, but i'm hoping it's the latter. i've held off buying these for a while because i don't like mix CDs when i'm making my own CDs, but i've done very little of that now, some of the tracks are almost impossible to find outside of vinyl, and i'm dying to own the songs i've only got in MP3 format. i figure i'll start begin at the beginning, with Carte Blanche Vol. 1.

For those of you not familiar with these CDs, many of them are played on Flaresound's (old habits...) Jazzmusique program > www.netmusique.com. They're also available on iTunes for those of you who'd rather buy slightly cheaper music at inferior quality. Yeah, i said it.

+1 Naked Music...love their sound.

Many of their "name" records are mixes: the Nude Dimensions series, the Bare Essentials series, the Carte Blanche series... (Two of their best mixes have only one volume so far: Lost On Arrival and Nude Tempo.) However, you can find a lot of the original tracks as singles on places like Beatport.

Most of their artist albums aren't mixed, though.

(Oh yeah, the Trentemoller EP is hot shit.)
