Looks pretty sweet. Hopefully there's some substance to it, as some of Rodriguez's films are pretty light on character development and plot.

Is there a 'party' that you haven't been late to? Sin City is a must read, for the awesome B&W artwork, if nothing else (along with the great gritty stories).

Some scenes are actually lifted directly from the comic book. Everything is very, very stylized, and true to the comic.

Rourke looks like he was born to play Marv... and yeah, there's some Alba eye-candy in there, too.

Looks very promising.
