Six people resign from presidential HIV/AIDS council because Trump 'doesn't care'

We voted for him.

Talk for yourself there bud.

I refuse to call him President, and if there was a visible sign of that I would rock it proudly.

I obviously know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, until we can vote him out (or he gets impeached, but that won't happen unless we get the House back) but

1- Fuck Trump.

And

2- Fuck the special snow flakes who couldn't bear to vote Clinton because emails and both sides.

We, have a problem in this country if this man created a close election. We need to get people educated about voting. We need people to convince some that fox news and other shit are flat out lies.

We need to show up and vote in record numbers to counter the racism bigot/(but I'm not a bigot I just agree with the party of bigotry!) Votes.

Can't just point fingers here. We could use some people. But yes, some are too far gone. But we, as Americans, are responsible for this. We have democracy here remember? We fight wars over our rights.

I don't take it personally. But I do agree that as a nation, we fucked up and need to make sure this doesn't happen again. Part of that is admitting there's a giant issue here.

My guess is trump is ignorant and stupid enough to think hiv/aids is a thing only gay people and prostitutes get. The only thing from the past 20 years he gets is social media.

Trump has spent the majority of his time as President pushing legislation that would directly harm his voters. Poor and rural people.

This has nothing to do with ignorance. Trump legitimately gives not a single fuck about anyone not in his personal sphere. He's a heartless bastard who's going to hell. Lets not confuse that with simple ignorance.

Every single person who voted for this orange abomination, from out in the country to lurking on this website, is nothing but pure, 100%, grade AAA, no substitutions, SHIT. Fuck TRUMP, and the dimwitted, hateful as fuck, SELFISH, bigoted, soulless, pieces of crap that voted for him.

Yep. Fuck trump supporters.

"Doesn't care" seems to be the wrong description. Based on his history, it looks like he actively hates people with aids.

He doesn't, he just doesn't care.

Well yeah. Trump cares about making money. Pretty much everything he does is motivated by money, well except his hate for the Black President. So two things drive him.

So he cares about what's in it for him, but yeah he doesn't give a shit about this country, the poors, etc.

We sure did fuck up as a nation but I truly wonder about this election in particular.
With Russia's involvement, I doubt there was much the American public could've done(?) This needed the backing of the entire intelligence community, instead we found ourselves divided once more. Bickering over the stupidest shit like her emails. It's like living on a slow motion train crash without being able to jump off.

I wonder how many now Trump supporters in the future are just going to straight out deny ever voting for him to their friends, lovers, kids, etc? I mean it may seem empowering to them now, but once he's out of office, history will not look kind on the man.

Maybe this ends so horribly we get to the point where everyone and their mother is saying, "I didn't vote for him" and you just have to find the bullshitters.

Pence loves screwing people with HIV. He wouldn't allow needle exchange during the largest HIV outbreak in rural Indiana. Drug users using tainted needles. Finally, he agreed and infection went down.

What was going on was unprecedented in Indiana and rare in the United States: H.I.V. was spreading with terrifying speed among intravenous drug users in this rural community near the Kentucky border. Local, state and federal health officials were urging the governor to allow clean needles to be distributed to slow the outbreak.

But Indiana law made it illegal to possess a syringe without a prescription. And Mr. Pence, a steadfast conservative, was morally opposed to needle exchanges on the grounds that they supported drug abuse.

“Don’t give me any political views; I want to know your opinion,” the sheriff recalled Mr. Pence saying.

Sheriff McClain, who was not a fan of needle exchanges, was quick to reply: “I believe the only thing we can do to stop or slow this thing is to get clean needles out there.”

On March 23, more than two months after the outbreak was detected, Mr. Pence said he was going to go home and pray on it. He spoke to the sheriff the next night.

Two days later he agreed.

So, first post is right. Fuck this man and his religious zealot of a VP.

Everytime I read the OT section here or go on WaPo it's just another reminder of how much fucking damage this shithead and the dangerous assholes behind him are causing.

It is enough to make one sick.

We have to mobilize against the radically stupid in every way possible.

Pretty disgusting of Trump.

Even Bush Jr fought the AIDS epidemic.

Good lord. Should we have some upcoming health crisis, besides the opioid crisis, is it going to be absolutely terrifying.

This applies to pretty much everything they do.

To think 599 i think of key positions, only 42 are filled. This is totally out of control and my guess a lot will not work with him and seeing this..fuck trump seriously he is damaging everyone and everything.

I sure as fuck did not vote for the orange scum. "We" my ass.

The majority voted Hillary.

The GOP got the racist masses and targeted gerrymandering to secure enough votes in the Electoral College.

If you voted in a state that turned red, then you voted for him too.

Hey, it happened with W. Of course to a large portion of the country Hillary Clinton is the devil, so you're going to see a lot more people say they voted third party than say they voted for Hillary.

I wonder. I mean yeah now. But in a decade or two, when nobody gives a shit about Hillary Clinton anymore and there is no more Republican rhetoric dragging her through the mud, calling her a traitor, and a murderer, I think many memories will have forgotten that they even hated the woman. Most people I know don't have a good reason if asked, they just tell me " I just don't like her". And in the end, Hillary is going to seem like a saint in comparison to the president that was Donald J Trump.

I live in New York, an extremely blue state.

Even if I lived in a red state, I'd still happily have voted Hillary. That would be my personal vote, it means something, even if the state goes to Trump. Fuck this "your vote doesn't count" sentiment.

If it was me I'd just fall back on "couldn't trust her" and security issues due to (the number one Trump attack. Good on his team from a political communication standpoint. Sucks that it was a super effective smear) "emails emails emails"

Well I don't know very many super political folks, so they wouldn't respond with emails or Ben Ghazi because they just aren't informed enough or care enough to hear the talking points. For example my Brother said she was a liar when I pressed him. Though again he couldn't really tell me about what or why he thought Trump wasn't one. In the end he supported Trump because he didn't like Hillary more than anything, but he doesn't vote so eh.

It's all part of the greater plan that elements have long planned. Government must be brought crashing down in order to push the people to be willing to embrace a new system. If 2/3 of the Government remains unled and starved for funding etc. its inevitable for a collapse of basic order.

They will claim its about giving states back power etc. but the reality is its about starving the Government to collapse and then rebuilding a new monstrosity.

Luckily for the US and Planet Earth in general, Trump and his cohorts are far too stupid and incompetent to bring this mass deconstruction of the US government to fruition. The best they can do is simply neglect to do their jobs and leave positions unfilled for the time being. But the next time a Democrat gets in office, be it 2020 or 2024, they'll just put the pieces back into place.

We voted for him.
If you mean "we" as in the country, yes "we" did.

But personally, no. I Voted for Hillary. Granted, I held my nose, and voted for her, but the fact I even had to hold my nose to vote for her was a big part of the problem with her campaign, and her as a candiate.

Plus, Hillary was a LOUSY candidate who ran a LOUSY campaign. Like, even if you are the vice president of the Hillary Clinton fan club, for all the talk of Russia, Comey interference, and dated electoral college (all of which are valid talking points), at the end of the day, Hillary lost BC she ran a TERRIBLE campaign. Yes, she won by 3 million in the popular vote, but honestly, if she was great as she claims she was, especially against a obvious con man like Trump, she should have won by a bigger margin than Obama won in 08, and yet, she did not. Far from it. To me, that speaks a LOT more for Hillary's weaknesses than it does for any possible Russian interface, or anything of the like.

Mike Pence wouldn't be any better either.
Yep. So damn true.

Like, many people mistakenly believe he would be better , BC Pense would be more polite in terms presentation, but in terms of policy (as in the shit that actually MATTERS), he would be just as bad in many areas, if not worse, than Trump.

Pence may be even more insidious because Republicans would be willing to work with him. For all of Trumps hate, most of his attempts at getting things done have been fails so far.
