This is from the IGN Gear table? It just seems wrong - I mean the slot for the disc isn't that big, however, when Ken is holding the system it appears to be huge. So, maybe this is correct.

Sony seem to have got it all wrong with the hardware. Although I like the design of the console, making it really big is a bad idea. The contoller also looks horrible. It will be interesting to see what revolution will look like. If what has been said about it being the sixe of three DVD's stacked together and just slightly longer than a DVD, MS and Sony, for the first time, will be owned by Nintendo

edit: Do you see the 2 1/2" on the Xbox 360? You know the value that is roughly 1/2 the width (when standing).

I know, I was analyzing it earlier (partly because I had an argument with Deadmeat on OA). The PS3 appears to be about 4 1/2 DVD cases in width, BTW...

edit: Do you see the 2 1/2" on the Xbox 360? You know the value that is roughly 1/2 the width (when standing).

If you over lay the power supply and network jacks of the PS3 over that of the 360 they are exactly the same size in that picture. I would say that comparison is spot on based on that.
