Skyfall Theme by Adele

I enjoyed it. One of the better Bond songs, but I agree her accent, or speech impediment or whatever does get annoying after a while. Its pretty good exposure for the movie aswell, I dont think any of the recent Bond songs have gotten this popular this quickly.

it's kinda boring isn't it? like there's nothing catchy that I could hum with and get me hyped for the movie. it's enjoyable because of her voice, but the tune is so unmemorable, the song just felt a bit mellow or somber, I was hoping for something more dramatic and energetic I guess.

yawn, how does someone dare get paid for writing this crap?

it's barely a good pastiche of existing bond tunes and sound, and completely lacks its own identity or hook

Heard on the radio this morning, twice on different stations. We got a hit song out of a Bond theme on our hands here.

lol mgs3. only people who think that game is artistically good is anime/comic-book fans. so basically people with no decent judgement in taste.

Did you just recently gain the ability to hear?

Haha, no. I just tuned out of the mainstream music scene some years back. I don't know who's popular or anything like that. I just can't stand hearing about guns/drugs/sex/relationships in songs anymore.

Adele has a nice voice, though.

This photo really creeps me out. I think it's because of how the light is hitting the dude and making him look extremely pale. Creepy stalker/bad guy on public transportation... :: shudders ::

It's even creepier cause he's disguised as a police officer. You'd never know he's not a real cop, yet you'd immediately trust him anyway because of the uniform... until it's too late.

I was expecting a crescendo that was not featured in the 30 second preview, but it never manifested. It starts off well, and I like the general feel of it, but it just doesn't go anywhere. It feels as though they played it far too safe, and that it could have been so much more. Even so, this is obviously going to sell like crazy solely because of Adele's name.

Lol tons of new releases go No 1 on Itunes almost immediately. Just the way it works. Pretty sure 4 songs have shot to #1 in less than 24 hours in the last two weeks.

Call me in a week (not saying it won't be there.....but its not really a mind blowing achievement)

Listening to it some more, the backing vocals are going on me a little. The lyrics are still somewhat inane.

However, I will not be surprised if they cut the bridge of this song for the movie. But, who knows.

Macanese people are such haters.

If you look past the cheesy Kojima-ness, it makes some really good points about war and politics in general.

OT: Skyfall theme sounded nice.

Lol, Sony takin' it to the bank.

Love the "where you go I go" bit.

I keep replaying that B part. It's too bad it's so short compared to the other parts of the song, but it's oh so good. That doesn't mean I don't like the main section. I've replayed the song so many times today it's silly.

Bought it after hearing a person in my university's library listening to it. I'm not a big Adele fan, but I really enjoy the song.

It was pretty genius of them to release it early to get people more excited for the movie. Not to mention picking the hottest artist out there for the theme. I wouldn't be surprised if Skyfall is a massive hit.

*Checks Casino Royale blu-ray* Wow, I could have sworn it was R. Well that makes me feel better. Don't have to worry about them sacrificing anything.
Yeah, the one that I felt really pushed it was License to Kill. But other than that is has been PG and PG-13. So long as there isn't full on sex and gore ridden violence, the series should safely stay PG-13.
