the thing that trips me out about these more expensive pairs is I get scared to wear them. toronto has some dirty, wet, muddy, salt-filled streets and I wouldn't want to wear a $700 pair of kicks... outdoors. I don't even like wearing my $200 Jordan 1s too much.
it's why I'm so hesitant on the all black Y3's -_-

New Tony the Tiger 350s are ugly TBH but the thirst for the L so real they starting to look good.
Worst comes to worst, they would probably be a good deposit on a trade towards the older color ways.
I would get in on the rep action but chelsea boot game got me tied up, can't decide to channel Yeezy and go with CPs or go a little different (and cheaper!) with Story Et Fall.

Lettermans won't jump in price. Quality isn't up there which makes 1s jump like that and the color way just isn't that great. UNCs still going for around 200.

Up to you, took me a year to figure out my sneaker game and fashion style really. Went from more street-wear last year to somewhere between street and clean, and I'm buying less but better stuff even if it's more expensive. I suggest staying away from loud stuff. Get a white pair of sneakers, a black pair (never all black, have white soles), and some chukkas or something similar when you don't want to put on sneakers.

You don't like the LA1s or the UNCs? They're not that high as resell goes. You can probably get them for around 200.
