Well I'm gonna be no use then. Though I figure it would be cheaper to order from sites based outta Australia? You might still get hit with the duties and charges but prices should be more comparable no?

I'm Canadian and only order from U.S. sites when I have to (or if they're cheap enough, or our dollar is closer to par (RIP)).

Australia is pretty similar to NZ from what i've heard. the stores that sell them are mostly local and don't ship overseas.

I usually manage to snatch a pair hear and there from Amazon, even then most don't ship down here.

Yeah I had wondered about that, bummer. I assume you know of www.snkr.co.nz? They seem somewhat decent. I don't know if Nike or Adidas, etc have NZ online stores. I know I buy a lot of stuff direct off their Canadian sites as they usually have better shipping / returns

Nike and Adidas put some decent stuff online but again the selection is piss poor. same
applies to mens fashion in general down here.

^ Aren't runners in the UK, like Jordans in the US?

Unbelievably hyped
Not quite. Runners are definitely way way more popular than Jordan's but you need to take in consideration we get much less stock than the US. Also all of the big stores in the UK will ship internationally, which means you get a lot of Americans buying up stock that was meant for the EU. Those of us in the UK can't do the reverse as we get hit massively by import tax.

Bummer as I find the LunarEpics to be probably the most comfortable running shoe I've ever owned, second only to the Lunar 1s. I've not had any issue with the soles, though I hate that tiny rocks/pebbles can get stuck in the cushioning sipes. Also, I can feel the pros/cons between the low cut version and the high collar version but I'll just chalk it up to preference (I actually like my high collar ones more for stability).

That said, have you looked into the LunarGlide 8s? They have the same front sipes as the LunarEpics, but the heel portion is solid.

Regarding Hokas, my coach said that they basically feel like tanks for your feet when running and they offer too much cushioning. I have low arches myself but have a normal stride so a shoe like the Hoka Ones are overkill for my feet.

I need new running shoe. How low are your arches? I have 0 lol.

I have a pair of Kayano 21s that I thought were decent for running but they're in storage some where.

I'll give th Lunar Epics a shot. They're still on NDC.

Yeah, UBs just sitting on mall shelves here in LA.

They're really making the Uncaged and Triple white/black general releases at this point.

Are you confusing the demand with an actual limited release?

Crazy thing is I've honestly never seen a single person wearing these in my life.

Well, there's some colorways that don't seem to get remade. Like the OG black/purple, wool gray, original solar red, etc.

So I wouldn't consider those general release.

I see them pretty often on the streets. LA is full of hypebeasts though.

Ultraboosts are everywhere, at least in northern Cali. Uncaged not as much, think I've only seen them once.

For me I think I actually like uncaged more than caged, though.

Speaking of UBs, they're changing the primeknit pattern for Fall 2016.

Looks so much better than the gradient design of the 2.0's IMO.

Same thing, I don't think those are really sought out colorways outside of maybe the Wool Grey

Black/Purple were for sure one of the easiest to find from the initial CW run.

What I want to know is how NMD R1 Primeknits sell out in an eyeblink yet I have only ever seen one person wearing a pair.

Is Thrasher the new hypebeast tees to be rocking? I know the magazine's been around a long time but I been seeing Instagram models rocking mad Thrasher tees and finding it corny as fuck.

Just cheap fashion. Supposedly just another way to say you're a rebel. Been seeing then for the past year or so.

On the one hand it's corny as fuck but on the other hand skaters have always been so fucking pompous about their "culture" that I kind of enjoy seeing them getting fully triggered over a Kardashian in a Thrasher shirt

The 2016 wave of UB releases have been in greater supply than the 2015s. But it's only specific releases like the Core Black 2.0, White 2.0, the first wave of uncaged that have gotten major restocks.

Creams still command a hefty price on the resellers market as well as some other releases/collaborations.

The Multi 2.0 have restocked and still manage to sell out. Couldn't get my hands on the triple color uncaged UBs. I wanted the trifecta.

Adidas took the lifestyle crown from Nike at the moment. Saw they passed UA and reclaimed #2.

True enough. Man I love these Instagram chicks but they all seem to have the same personality copy and pasted

Let's just say that my arches are on the near invisible side to the naked eye lol.

But yeah, I use to wear Saucony ISO Hurricanes but found that they would often push my feet towards the side, rather than the middle so I was actually kinda bowlegged when jogging/running/walking. Went to a specialist running store (one of my gym coaches works there) and he checked out my feet and stride. The store also happens to have a Nike Running account so they carry the same running gear that Niketown does.

Saw that I don't pronate (which the Sauconys were to assist with) and that my stride was actually normal (I was barefoot when he was checking my stride). So he told me that I should actually be using neutral shoes and coincidentally, the LunarEpics are just that. I asked if I'd be a good candidate for those and he wholly recommended them, so I tried them out and haven't looked back.

I've actually tried running in my UBs and hate the feeling due to being too...squishy and cushioning. I prefer to walk/stand in them over running. My LunarEpics are solely for races.

If you can, check out a running store (I go to Forward Motion) and have them check you out. Who knows, you could simply be running in the wrong shoes all this time really.

Got around to trying on a pair of Tubulars this afternoon and really disliked the way they fit. The upper is way too high in the front and the design makes it hard to snug up the laces comfortably. Can't imagine I would like Ultraboosts any better since they're so similar. Ended up buying some dope balearic-vibin' seafoam Pumas instead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Have you tried fitting UBs? I was kinda not getting the hype about the UBs comfort till i tried one. Most confortable shoe I've worn. I used to cycle on 4-5 pairs of shoes to wear to work, but since getting a caged UB I've have narrowed it down to 2 pairs. This and Lebron 12 lows. I only wear the Lebron because the colorway i got was swag as hell.

Bought a all black PK tubular and not liking it too. Thought about returning it but i got it from oneness. Tssss.

Got an offer for my XII alternates. Never worn. I listed them for $215 just to test the waters. Got a bite locally in the first 20 minutes, now I don't know if I want to sell them lol.

If those ovo's or masters were available i'd do it in a heartbeat.

edit: gonna keep them. just noticed they go for much more online.

I have a pair of Tubulars, and I've kind of turned on them because the sole just isn't comfortable at all.

This is true too

Haven't tried UBs yet because I've never seen a pair on the shelves here in Seattle (haven't looked all that hard, though) and also I kind of hate the weird sole curve from back to front. Don't doubt they're comfy, it's just not a shoe that I'm all that interested in.

Air Max 90, Gel Lyte III, and these Pumas I picked up... that's my ideal style of sneaker, I think

Got the black ying yang 1's in last night. They're great. 1's still my favourite shoe so I'm easily pleased, but they look dope. Swapped in the white laces also, fiyah.

those are fire

kinda feeling these fila, a brand i haven't worn in like 15 years

Look fantastic. How do you think they compare to UBs wear/comfort wise? Debating on picking up the new NMDs or just grabbing UBs.
In terms of the sole they both obviously use boost and they are almost identical, except for the inner sole. The Ultra Boost have them whereas the NMDs don't. It's similar to the Y3 Pure Boost (pic below). The major difference is the upper, both use primeknit but the Ultras are tighter across the forefoot whereas the NMDs have a bit more give to them.

I've only tried them on so far, but they are comfy.
