I need new running shoe. How low are your arches? I have 0 lol.
I have a pair of Kayano 21s that I thought were decent for running but they're in storage some where.
I'll give th Lunar Epics a shot. They're still on NDC.
Let's just say that my arches are on the near invisible side to the naked eye lol.
But yeah, I use to wear Saucony ISO Hurricanes but found that they would often push my feet towards the side, rather than the middle so I was actually kinda bowlegged when jogging/running/walking. Went to a specialist running store (one of my gym coaches works there) and he checked out my feet and stride. The store also happens to have a Nike Running account so they carry the same running gear that Niketown does.
Saw that I don't pronate (which the Sauconys were to assist with) and that my stride was actually normal (I was barefoot when he was checking my stride). So he told me that I should actually be using neutral shoes and coincidentally, the LunarEpics are just that. I asked if I'd be a good candidate for those and he wholly recommended them, so I tried them out and haven't looked back.
I've actually tried running in my UBs and hate the feeling due to being too...squishy and cushioning. I prefer to walk/stand in them over running. My LunarEpics are solely for races.
If you can, check out a running store (I go to Forward Motion) and have them check you out. Who knows, you could simply be running in the wrong shoes all this time really.
