What you guys think of that young guy who bought a pair of Yeezy Turtle Doves for $1,700? He later said that when he washed them the dye was bleeding or something and people from Reddit said they were fake. Kolorblind, the store who sold them, offered $1,000 in store credit but he wanted the full refund. Kolorblind said he didn't bring back the same shoe and that he came back 38 days later. He posted it on Reddit and the store posted their response.

Kids fault for spending that much and then going back in months later but I understand that when you buy something from a legit shop, that you have this false comfort that they're real. That's assuming they sold him fakes.
But bait and switch does happen, kid probably bought feezys (they're pretty good now) and tried to come up on 1.8k. If the store truly sold fakes, why even offer the store credit?

Same. I've gone up to $500 before, but that's about my limit. Almost went $700 for the 350 v2s, but couldn't pull the trigger. Just too much for shoes for me.

Word on the streets is that the release day launch was all messed up so they delayed it for now.
it was messed up all right. they didn't limit the QTY to the usual 1-2. instead the limit was 10 on launch day.
I don't think it was the young guy because he seemed really naive. He didn't get them legit checked (but when you buy them at a store I can see why he didn't), he obviously wore them a lot, and he wouldn't have gone back until he tried to wash them then posted on Reddit. Oh, and his Mom bought them with her credit card apparently. If he was trying to scam them then why not just take the $1,000 in store credit?
Anyways, hard to side with the store but I think that maybe they let a fake get through. Which is pretty bad.
Capsule is releasing them tomorrow.

I think they released earlier somewhere else. sneakernews has 11.03 for US.
All three dropped yesterday morning on adidas.com. Next week is footsites I think. Wasn't a hard cop honestly, seems like all the bots passed.

I should've jumped on the black toe preorders at 220. A reputable site had them up for that price after the Banned 1s but I passed because I was too salty to give my money up to JB.

Took an L. I was busy with something (really important) at the time it went live on Capsule. A bit frustrating because Capsule said it'd be up today, but didn't specify a time. I was refreshing like mad at 12 noon EST (that's usually when Capsule puts stuff up) but it wasn't up when I checked.
