I actually like the white mesh pair more than the grey ones. Probably because the grey ones look a little too plain.
Do they have the lunarlon insole or the standard converse one?
Lunarlon I believe, its soft. But honestly its been awhile since I wore my Chuck II's.
Chuck II's are OK, one of the saddest days of my life was when I realised that chucks weren't that comfortable or supportive a shoe, changed everything for me

There is. I thought they were women's only at first but then Soleheaven got them in in a size 10 & 11 and Atmos is stocking a men's version.
Really liked them in that photo. Not so much the image here. First made me think it was similar colour to the LunarCharge Essential Oatmeal:

I have the grey cw. Can confirm that it is a super high quality construction. Sole is a bit awkward though. Still love 'em.

Nice. The black and grey colorways were kinda boring, which is why the green (as well as the maroon) pairs caught my eye.
I still think they're gonna go quick but would love to be able to pick up the green pair at retail if possible.

I was saying how I think Nike is re-creating artificial demand again for their releases since Adidas is eating their lunch right now.
For a good while it was relatively easy to cop most of their high hype releases, it seems to be getting hard again.

Agreed. I think the other part is such as individuals such as myself who recently (2-3 years ago) got into the shoe game. All these 90s shoes that I wanted as a kid but could not cop. Now that I have a job and extra income, I want to get them. I am sure there are a lot more people like me who are in the same situation.

90s retro runner releases are not a new thing though, I do think however they're giving them more care and attention than before.
I just want a happy medium...still make people hustle if they really want them, but, selling out within 4 or 5 minutes? Cmon.
I understand they want to create that hype for super duper hyped releases....but these are just OG 97s.
I bet you that folks from the UK crushed the 97s release today though.

I agree. They did it with the 90 OGs (the red/white, blue/white, ATMOS and Master) and now these.
It's all artificial.
The 91s and 95s hat dropped TWO years ago were GRs. They're JUST maxes. When they originally released they weren't limited. I understand for the ATMOS and Masters. But not for OG color ways.

I'm in South Florida and was able to pick up two pairs of the 97s but...they were each a half size up. Debating on keeping them or selling them then copping the TTS.
Definitely disappointed with Nike releases lately (the Lebron retroes, Kaws, Space Jams, Air Maxes, etc). But it's not like Adidas isn't doing the same limited hyperstrike madness.
