I hear ya MarkMan, the 2's are incredibly underrated IMO. But yeah, those purple joints are terrible haha!
Was able to scoop a pair of the Kobe 9 Laker colourway (Laker fan here
) with relative ease on Eastbay this evening. Been hearing that there's plenty of supply on these, but since they don't release here in Oz until next week, I figured I'd secure a pair now to avoid disappointment.
It's been a good day, but I think I'm gonna keep a low profile for a bit haha.

I hope one day Jordan Brand/Nike takes the premium route with the Air Jordan II and really gets it done like how it was back when it first launched. Premium Italian leather and all the premium feels.

Yeah one of my gripes with Nike and their charging $140-$225 for a Jordan Retros is they don't use the same high quality materials, especially the 2s with the premium material. 13s with 3M.
I just don't see how they can charge the price for basketball/casual shoes against KD, Kobe and LeBron signatures.
Anyways, picked up the Kobe 9 and Jordan 2.

It all depends. Check on Friday. It's hard to tell what sizes they'll have. The only ones I want are the ones any brain dead reseller and bot user will be going for...the AJ 1s...
I'll be trying for the Kobe 9 EM Easter this week. Not a huge fan of the low snake skins or speckles/infrareds. I do want the Concords though.

Not really having too much for this weekend but I'll just be going after the Royals and Black/Gold 1s. It was a long wait but these finally came in today. I'm still unsure if I prefer the mints over these. Initially I preferred the mints but seeing these in person makes doubt myself.

I'm kinda torn between which version I like more...
The white's unique because not only does it fade to either red/blue, but the white fades to black. The black simply just fades into being worn.
Might have to think about this.

I wore my Easter KD6s today. I actually bought two pairs. Definitely sending a pair back. For a kid, they're nice but the colors are a bit underwhelming compared to last year.
I like the Easter Kobe 9 colors just wish there were a decent pattern. The Kobe 8 Easters are my favorite of that holidays shoes. Lebrons are always the worst.
And the new SBxJ 1s are hot.
Nice! Gives my wallet a small window of relief. Gonna have to line up really early for it, missed out on the first SB Jordan 1s cause I came late.
