stupid question:
for anyone who lives in snow filled areas, do you wear sneakers outdoors during this time of year? if so, how do you maintain them? I'm in Toronto, and it's not the snow or water that gets me, but this:
there is a shit load of salt literally everywhere you step. I've ruined many a pair of shoes due to this. after a while I just said fuck it and I wear my timberland boots everywhere, which still get fucking white dry salt shit all over them.
I see people on campus at my university wearing mother fucking jordan 11s just completely ruined by this salt and it causes me physical pain. if I ever got my hands on a pair of awesome jordans, I don't think I'd have it in me to wear them during these conditions lol
so is it even feasible to wear sneakers in this case? does the good old toothbrush clean stained salt off sneakers? or should I just keep rolling with boots until the three or so months of warm weather in toronto?
