You could always keep it and sell it someone on GAF at cost or a very small markup for your time. That is my goal.

Have two UK models and am desperately trying to get my hands on a couple of US models to help other gaf members by selling them at cost.

They have gone back and deleted extra quantities from peoples' orders before.

Of course the one day I decide to sleep early Nintendo puts out the pre order, and on another amazon url to add extra salt to the wound!

Whatever, I'm done playing this game. I'm tired from 5 months of trying to find a Switch. Fuck Nintendo, fuck amiibo, fuck all their hardware business practices. I'm out.

I was avoiding setting up text alerts for wario. I didn't think I needed to do it since I use NowInStock and sign up for alerts on store sites.

Amazon just drove me to do it.

Same here. I'm really hoping those are honored for international delivery since the original page for the listing said no shipment to USA. But as it let those of us in the US order it anyways, I'm hopeful it will work out.

I knew this was going to upset people. I just happened to be playing Zelda and I saw Wario's tweet.

I still don't see why Nintendo can't just say we'll make like 5 million of these things and leave it at that.

On the one hand I'm upset that I missed the preorders from Best Buy, but on the other hand I should learn to place less value on material possessions
and just use the Retropie I already have.

Same. I'm still really hoping the stock situation won't be as bad as the NES classic even though years of being a Nintendo fan have hardened me :(

Likewise. Shame that they went up at a time that only scalpers/super diehards would grab it. That said, wasn't it a different vendor, just fulfilled by Amazon? Gametrust, according to Wario64.

Anyway, I'm going to keep my eyes peeled. I haven't been paying way more attention to my twitter notifications than usual for nothing.

want to thank Nintendeal on Twitter..

I had notificiations on for three weeks and got a ton of notification tweets in the middle of the night all for other random Nintendo crap, but it was going nuts at 4am and it woke me up somehow (my phone notifications), and I decided to grab my phone and boom...

cheers, now I can turn off the darn notificaitions

Nintendo said at the offset that they'd produce way more SNES than NES classics, so we do have that to go on.

Not that I didn't say "count" on or "rely" on.

As I said, years of being a fan of Nintendo has hardened me. I know they said that but until release it's kind of hard to take them at their word given their history ;)

I am hopeful though!!

Had I finally gone to bed 10 minutes later and/or checked my phone when I had trouble sleeping, I would have gotten it. Ugh.

That's why I'm not as fussed as I would be otherwise. I own every game on the classic already with the exceptions of Starfox 2 and that Kirby golf game. Everything else is already on my RP along with Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 2/4, and Turtles in Time (and a handful of other shit probably no one but me cares about). I still want the official product though.

I impulse bought one at like 2 in the morning because I had eaten a weed brownies and a 5 Hour Energy, but I'm going to give it to my sister in law who was never able to get a NES mini after trying for months. I want one, but I promised myself I wouldn't get one after the pure fuckery Nintendo and a lot of retailers pulled with the mini NES. They are worse than Ticketmaster with this hogwash. These things are dirt cheap to make, and people shouldn't have to pay some shady scalper in a parking lot double or triple the price.

A question since i have no idea how it works with retro games, since i'm planning to give away my second Snes Classic as a gift, will italian be available for the games?

I feel like my BF would love it overall but no italian would be a dealbreaker for him

Amazon is pretty damn reliable like 99% of the time. It is odd that they used a new store page which now has a weird ass title, while the original store page is still up. And as already mentioned, they did step in when people were buying dozes of 3DS at a time, so maybe there's hope there.

But, I'd feel overall comfortable if I had an amazon order already.

I was up at 5 am for work and managed to get an order in. I ordered 2 (one for myself and one for a gift). I hope they don't cancel it.

I still have an Amazon UK pre-order that I will likely cancel soon.

The SNES classic has Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Kart, those games have an Italian

Chances are good, but 99% is way too high. Let's not forget the mass cancelations of the Master Edition.

Yup! The official product is just, well, more official lol. Whenever I turn on my retropie to play an old game with a friend they kind of look at the boot up screen like .....wtf voodoo are you doing right now?!

I actually just want a perfect emulation of Yoshi's Island to be completely honest. After Nintendo announced the SNES classic I realized I have never played it so a few months ago I dug out my GBA SP and picked up a copy of Super Mario Advance 3. The screen just makes me want to experience it on my TV though :(

I don't own the cart for Yoshi's Island SNES so I would prefer to pay Nintendo for a SNES classic to play it than to play illegally or not at all.

Currently have 68 extra consoles, I will be helping people who missed out on a FCFS basis, and yes I will be helping them for retail, not scalper price.
