Snow White 2025 Official Trailer | Gal Gadot & Rachel Zegler

Should give credit to whoever though the seven dwarfs weren't part of the movie(to the point of the movie being just named Snow White instead of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves), the one who puts this attrocity of actress, make Snow White backstory based on actual snow instead of her appearance and make the story about the resistance.

Y2K tanked massively. I'm not sure there are any plans for a Songbird sequel or what role she may have in it. She has no upcoming projects listed on IMDB.

I think Zeigler is done.

She'll have to do an indie film tour for a while, assuming she can even get cast in those, which as a reasonably attractive young "white-adjacent" woman I think she still has some marketability but her leading lady days are over for now, I think. Pretty good run, all told, for most actresses.

The fact that she can't shut her mouth for a single second makes me believe she gonna have a hard time there. The last thing any movie need is bad public opinion.

I'm still wondering how Disney somehow managed to get this creatively bankrupt.

It's not even just about their own stuff. They ruined Marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and even these live actions from much better animated movies THEY THEMSELVES did in the past somehow suck ass.

What did Zegler do that's destroyed the films chances of recouping their expenses? Lots of people are making it out to be her fault. Maybe it is.

The explanation is simple once you understand the mindset of these freaks. They mean exactly what they have done: destroy the legacy of all those franchises and subvert their messages, which don't fit in their present narrative.

With remakes, reboots, and live-action, they push the new content to erase the classic ones from the collective memory for new generations. However, they didn't count on their shows being so broadly disliked that people would rather watch the classics.

How could this possibly happen, Zegler is immensely likable?! This is just ...

I'm gonna enjoy this cunt not getting any big role anymore because everyone know she is supermoney's kryptonite.

Her primary sins, IIRC, were that she poo-pood the traditional narrative of the Disney Snow White story (prince's romance and 'saving' of Snow White) and then came out very pro-palestine 'too soon' then the images of dead kids and teens and grandparents were too fresh. Had she waited another 6-12 months to run her yap i think no one would care.

She is just the main lightning rod for this film, which was already getting demolished by that TERRIBLE production shot of the motley fool gang trailing behind her (or a stand in), plus Dinklange bellyaching about dwarfs on screen.

She's young and dumb and too much on social media. Had she just stuck to bikini shots and "im living my best life!" type shit then this film would just be the moderate bonb like Little Mermaid and not the CATASTROPHE it's gonna be like The Marvels or Indy or Haunted House or Cap:BNW.

At this point I think Disney is just trying to sweep it under the rug as fast as possible to it doesn't destroy Lilo and Stich or Thunderbolts in its wake.

Looking at her film history, only one that made big money was Hunger Games.

The other movies she starred in either underperformed or totally bombed out. Couldnt even take a Steven Spielberg movie to great success.

Snow White will be interesting. It should do decent sales no matter what since it's a cornerstone Disney franchise, but how well it performs based on what a Snow white movie should do (and against budget) will be another.

The new Captain America bombed? 😮

She seems to be doing ok. It would be nice if your self absorbed toxic narcissism cost you. But in Hollywood they feed off it.

I think she said she wanted to be paid for every second a show streamed too. Like she is owed money if someone streams the program she is in.

I think she was talking about the residuals issues with streaming shows, you know, the one of the reasons why Hollywood went on strike in 2023?

Right I guess that would depend on why people watch streaming shows. I don't think I have chosen a show because of the actor. You did the work so I guess the way they set up contracts you get paid based on viewing. In traditional residuals you got it based on syndication. It is a new business model so I don't know how you figure out residuals.

Which is what the strike was partially about because most streamers obscure viewership metrics.

I wish you were on the board at Disney, or that you had Bob Igers ear. It blows my mind that this guy allowed this to happen. This latest stint of his there has really hurt his legacy very bad.

There is some stuff I designed that is in the field today. I wish I got residuals on it.
I wish all the work I've ever done required the folks I've helped to keep paying m. You are alive, aren't 'cha?

I feel like residuals are a by-product of the gambling aspect of hollywood. You should be paid up-front for the work you do, it's not like the gig itself changes. But with most projects probably not actually making any money and just a few being ASTRONOMICAL hits, I can see why the idea of residuals is appealing. Can't really budget up front to pay everyone what they are actually worth, 'cause then there would be no concept of "low budget". Folks take that work on the hopes it is a break out hit or at least a perpetual cult classic.

The only real way for streaming to pay residuals is if the viewer had a tiny microtransactional fee for every minute watched. Otherwise we are gonna see shows be yanked because they cost too much for the service or don't make enough to justify being on the server.

I wonder if the family of the guy who invented Pepsi gets royalties off every can sold 100 years later? Doubt it. Most jobs in the world is simply doing work, get paid, and that's it. I dont think too many can say..... Well, I set the foundation selling John Deere tractors 40 years ago to Farm X, so I think I should get royalty payments even if I change companies till the day I die.

Royalty type of payments in media are a funny thing because on one hand all these gazillion actors needs money because they are a dime a dozen with hit and miss employment status. But then you'd think for the big name stars who get big salaries wouldnt need it. But since the system is set up to pay people, then the big stars say if Joe Bob bit actor who got 1 min screen time gets something then as the star of the movie I should get 10x bigger royalty. So the big stars end up hoarding the people budget.

It's such an odd industry because it's not even consistent among media. The actors and key director type people people get royalty. But I doubt any of the behind the scenes boring production crew get any or any of the office staff. And in gaming, I dont think royalty payments are even a thing at all for anyone(?). So some shitty movie selling 10,000 copies might get those actors/directors a cut, but a game that sells 10M might pay out $0 extra money. Weird system.

It used to be true like 10 years ago maybe, when "Stars" actually brought people in to see a movie. Now there's none of that, and they should get none of that either.

You are kinda describing patents, then trademarks and copyright. Thats how business gets "Residuals".

For actors, it used to be pretty easy since syndication and whatnot was fairly quantifiable. But streaming is nebulous and of course the streamers don't want to have to reveal their actual viewer numbers. The strike was supposed to open all this up but I'm not sure it has. But some folks in showbiz get residuals because that's how the negotiated it. The gaffer or set dresser probably don't because thats how their unions went.

A second source described the movie as 'one massive headache after another,' adding that 'everyone involved is over it'.

'They thought that they were breaking new ground to create something everyone could love by making this more diverse,' the source said. 'But, $270 million dollars later, execs are terrified.'

The same source reiterated that Rachel needs Snow White to be a hit in order to salvage her reputation.

'She has been essentially blacklisted by the industry which is sad given her massive talent,' continued the insider.

You love to see it

This turd of a movie is going to have to do between 7-800 million for it to break even, let alone turn a profit, and I believe I'm being nice.

Unless something remarkable happens, im sticking with my original prediction.

Massive talent? Questionable, people have yet to see how this dumb fuck performs. And the way she act in the media tells me she isn't a good one.
She seems very narcissistic.
Though I suppose that's quite common amongst celebrities. She seemed manipulative too when she started playing victim at the backlash from her comments.

This is why Media Training is so important. How many actors and actresses out there are as insufferable as Zeglar, but know how to hide it?

She just seems incredibly unlikeable. It ain't just her politics, because let's be real, there's nothing special or unique about her politics. Especially in Hollywood. Her views are a dime a dozen. It's just that she comes across as such an entitled and nasty cunt. And I don't understand why some people find her attractive. Sure she's pretty enough, but people lose how attractive they are to me depending on how awful they are as a person. Imagine dating this girl and what a mean spirited pain in the ass she would be to deal with. This is absolutely 100% the type of woman who would be the one to divorce you, and then hire a shark of a lawyer to take most of your assets and pin your balls to a cork board.

Having a latina ex, I can absolutely relate. They can be so sweet and then make your life a living hell.

Anyway, where are the reviews? No "Twitter guys have seen the movie and praised it" messages?

I can also relate. Shortest fuses of all time. And it can truly be over nothing.

A Latina will burn your house down over you misplacing her keys and then come right over the next day in tears apologizing profusely and telling you over and over again how much she loves you.

I avoided Latina girls back when I was single. I'm not hating because I find them to be some of the most physically attractive women out there. However you need very thick skin and a high tolerance for bullshit to deal with their personalities. I don't know if it's just a culture thing, but it's like they know how to play the game, and they know they can fuck your life up if you step outta line. I'm sure there are nice and chill Latina girls out there, but I've known a lot of psychos in my time, and a ton of them were Latinas. I've heard one horror story too many.

This is one hell of a bigot sandwich of a post

Is this the week all the articles start blaming everyone else but Disney for this movie's failure, or is that next week after the box office numbers come in from the weekend?
I mean, we're already in the glowing reviews and "first takes" on X stage from the Disney insiders, so they are obviously on schedule.

Disney should have given the role of Snow White to Anya Taylor-Joy if they were really so desperate to score diversity points with their casting decisions. Her skin IS as white as snow and she IS a real Latina actress who didn't forget her (Argentinian) roots.

(She probably can't sing though, that's important too of course)

The struggle is real.

The booty and the boobs oft make up for it :P
