The whole GaaS is starting to fall, and specifically about Battle Royale games, yeah they are on their way out.

I have say this before, but gaming is starting to show its deceleration, people now spent more time seeing or making TikTok/Reels/Playing the micro-celebrity, and not playing games. This will become the mainstream hobby and when normies dont show up for your 25 bucks Niki Minaj skin, the whole pipeline of GaaS on BR will fall.

Okay, Season 7 is due to start on the 29th. Do you want to make some predictions on what the user count will be? Surely if Fortnite is "terminal", that means their next season is going to have a muted response right?

It always get's a boom the first couple of days after a new chapter or a new season, unless they freshen it up massively then it might retain some players, but i can't see it personally.

People said that MMOs are dying like in the early 2010s, and they're still doing fine numbers. They saw it peak, then got downhill, but not a dying scenario. I say that Battle Royale will go to the same course

Yes which is great on the face of it, but not when they used to have 10-12million players concurrent.

At the weekend BR had 60 player lobbys, nearly everygame you will be filled with bots, it's not even Fortnite anymore.
