The family has spoken we need new phones and a renegotation of our contract. I'm the haggler and i need to know what i'm up against. Can i talk them into giving us a good deal on four new phones? We have been with AT&T since 95, and got a new contract back in 00. So they know were good people.

Thing is i'm gonna be added to the account, i'm the guy that cant get 6k in minutes a month easily. I want to know if they are gonna have a problem with that. I'm currently with sprint and they havent given me crap. But they are getting way to expensive for me to continue with. Due to some contract issues i'm feeling the push to leave. So thats why i'm being added to my family's account. But now i cant use PCS to PCS which everyone i talk to used this. But thats beside the point.

My point is what phones are good and what kind of plans are we looking at? I went to cingulars website, they had a plan for 59.99 a month for two lines, 850 min shared, night and weekends, mobile to mobile. Thing is they dont have options to add additional family members. Called them up and the only way to get that is through the store. So i'm going in tommorrow.

Thing is i want this deal from Wirefly.com they have the Sony Z500a (two of them) for free thing is they dont have the same plan as cingular. So how do you get a good deal on phones for 4 people?

Also why dont they ever offer a plan where you pay a certain amount say 10 bucks a month to have unlimited to talk with one phone number? They can do it but they just dont want too. Its bs.

Cingular is not the place you want to go to if you want flexibility and options.

I'm a customer but I tend to think that I settled with them because they're the devil I know.

They do have a number of nice features: no roaming, free calls to AT&T and Cingular phone customers, rollover minutes, etc. But in terms of coming up with something specifically for your wants or needs forget it. Go elsewhere.

you can add an additonal line to most plans for $9.99 a phone.

my gf and i switched to cingular a while ago and are very happy with them. we never go over our minutes and rollover is nice.

Unfortunatly i cant get them to change they're mind. Since my grandparents relatives are on cingular and they get they're mobile to mobile. So they dont want to switch. I want to haggle them into at least getting us some new phones. Were still using phones from 95-97 era that are really crappy. Plus they need speakerphone since they be all deaf dumb and blind. Thats why i do all the talking.

What the hell is there to haggle? If you're going in to sign a new contract, you should be eligible for some deep, deep discounts on some new phones.

All of the contracts i've read have where you can only get one rebate/card per 2 year agreement. Thats the problem. Its more of a formality than anything. I just want to try to work around having to sign them up for a 8 year contract just for 4 phones.

Can you tell me why the hell when i call another cingular person it charges me for nights and weekends at nights and stuf most of the time?
