So GAF, let's talk about tea.

What's your favorite tea? Where do you often purchase your teas? How do you enjoy your teas?

My favorite tea of all time is the Vanilla Camoro, from Harney & Sons. By far the most delicious tea I've ever had. It's a bit pricey, so I don't usually drink it often. I usually get this from Bigby Coffee, but I just saw that Amazon has it for cheaper.

Another favorite of mine is Stash's Double Bergamont Earl Grey.

Recently I've started brewing my tea with loose leaves, which I must say I'm enjoying a lot more. Most stores only carry bagged tea, though, so I've been trying to find places to buy good loose leaf tea online. I just ran into this place, anybody know of it?
The Tea Table
Their prices and selection seem really good, but I'm curious about the quality.

There's always Teavana, and I visited their store recently and they were really expensive, but their online prices seem a lot better.

let me know what you guys think.

The health clinic at my school has some nice spice tea there. I don't know the brand but it's delish! About 1 hour before my "pre-bedtime relaxation hour", I drink 1-2 mugs of chamomile tea. It's great to help unwind. The only problem: it's so tasteless. Because I'm trying to unwind, I want to avoid honey, sugar, etc. Any recommendations?

Also, the best iced tea that I've had:

I'll drink any kind of tea but the stuff I buy is Earl Grey. It's delicious.

Have at least one cup a day.

If you're in the market for a good chamomile tea, look no further. Although I usually drink it with sugar, I'm sure it's still good without.

I used to hardcore, there was this one type of tea that I liked the name escapes me but I drank it because it gave me a nice buzz.

Now I drink whatever my mom buys lipton or celestial crap.

I drink tea all the time.

I usually order tea from Adagio. They have a wide variety of loose leaf teas. I suggest you check them out and try some of their samplers.

I second Adagio. Great selection there and cheaper than you'll find in most stores for quality loose leaf tea.

Been hooked on pomegranate-green tea lately. I forgot what brand it is. Also, I can't believe people drink sweet iced tea. So disgusting.

Thanks, I'll buy it next time I go grocery shopping. Can't wait to try it.

Tried lemon tea. Might as well have been drinking warm lemon juice.

I usually drink the herbal stuff in bags because

1) I'm lazy
2) Black teas really need some prodding along with milk/sugar and I usually fuck up somewhere in the proportions. It's the same reason I started drinking my coffee black (besides the superior taste)
3) I don't know where to buy loose leaf stuff. I have a strainer though

Bigelow makes decent stuff, I suppose. I get the Raspberry/Blueberry/Green Tea with Lemon usually.

Well it taste OK, but compared to what I used to drink its like going from drinking Three Floyds Oak Aged Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout to Samuel Adams.

I drink mostly stuff from Adagio. The price:quality ratio for them is pretty good, and they have a ton of stuff to choose from.

I really want to try this one

Link

It is sencha mixed with some matcha.

Bottled tea like Snapple/Arizona is usually not real genuine tea. Goes the same way with bagged tea. The tea in the bags are usually just dusting from leaves left behind and bottled tea is barely tea at all, it is just a pinch of tea with other crap (high fructose corn syrup) that you really shouldn't be drinking.

Just my 2 cents. :D

What effect does the milk have on tea? I've never tried it and have been too afraid to try it because I hate the taste of milk (unless it's chocolate or strawberry milk).

On that note, I tried adding dried fruit from my trail mix to my tea, hoping that it would absorb some of the natural sugars. The fruits were: banana, craisin, golden raisin, papaya, apricot. Didn't do a damn thing. I highly recommend adding maple syrup to your tea if you haven't done so yet. It's so good!

oh yes! I'm actually drinking this kind now.

There's also some apple kind that I enjoy as well.

This.

Also, maple syrup? What kind of tea are you putting this in? I may have to give this a shot.

Usually Ahmad green tea for me, mint if I'm feeling adventurous. During the summer Arnie Palmer's or John Daly's when I want to get drunk.

I don't remember. I was at my parent's house and I just grabbed whatever they have lying about. I'm sure it will be okay in black tea. Well, not SURE, but just try it in a "not-so-exotic" tea.

You might try fennel tea. It's herbal, caffeine-free, a relaxant, and it's also good for your system (I think I read in some cultures it's drunk immediately after a meal to promote good digestion).

It also tastes like licorice and apparently and it's a nice pairing with fish according to the box I've got.

Well you said what I wanted to say, I was trying to find some way to say it without sounding elitist.

Yerba Mate. Buy mostly from amazon. Switched over to this from green/oolong. Taste like an earthier green tea, if that makes sense.

Dude, what's wrong with just sugar?

Also, I'm guessing you've never had milk tea. It's like regular tea, but milk in stead of water. You can buy/make it hot or iced.

There's a place I enjoy frequenting called Bubble Island that sells delicious Milk tea. They also put tapioca bubbles in it, which are o.k. I would understand if people didn't like them though, the texture is really weird. But yeah, milk tea is pretty good. Those Tea Lattes at Starbucks are just milk brought to a boil and then they put a tea bag in there. Except their chai latte, that's a syrup mix. Their Earl Grey Latte is pretty good.

lol, John Dalys are about the only alcoholic beverage I'll drink. You might also want to try Arizona tea with lime Smirnoff. It's pretty delicious.

I've had milk tea once and will never have it again. Those tapioca balls are vile.

I should make tea more often. Black tea with milk is pretty good. I usually only drink tea when others drink coffee (e.g. at a café or after lunch), at home I don't.

How does everyone feel about pu erh? I bought some cheap stuff and it was absolutely disgusting, maybe I should spend a bit more money on some.
