So I have an unopened copy of "Crimson Skies" should I break it open?

I got 2 free games with my Xbox, "PGR2" and "Crimson Skies". I liked PGR2 but havent even got around to opening the other title. I know shit-all about it besides it being a flying/dogfight type game, should I even bother opening it?

I was thinking of selling it to pay for a copy of Kirby DS...

Is there a decent 2 player game in there?( Im a big multi-player game freak)

The only reason I was hesitant to sell it right away was somebody using the game as their avatar.

PS. I cant use Xbox live

The person who had it as their avatar is named "CrimsonSkies" :lol

But yes, it's good in every conceivable way. It's truly one of the most overlooked gems this gen, and if you have an Xbox it's absolutely essential to any solid AAA library.

Absolute fun, and a better take on that 1920's-50's fantasy dogfighting era than Sky Captain was. (No Gwyneth Paltrow, after all.)

CS is a good game.

I got bored after a long while and wasn't playing it so I returned it for in store credit, but I got a lot of enjoyment out of it before that happened.

I like it.. but the single player isnt all that, and the game wasnt very big on live when it was brand new.

Really great game, and even better on live.
Really a showcase-game for Live.

Yeah, this game (which is amazing offline too), Amped 2 & Project Gotham Racing 2 are the games with the best Live implementation, imo...

Ok. Ok. I get the point. Im going home now to try it out!

I guess I could try to bribe some japanese woman for sex to get Kirby...

Great game. They aimed explicitly at getting that Indiana Jones feel mixed with the fantasy 1940s-ish airplane-centered world and nailed it. Hell, the hero is basically a Harrison Ford special, Indy and Han rolled into one.

Just got through playing it for an hour or so...

First impressions: I thought there was something wrong with my TV during the FMV sequences, really bad de-interlacing or something (Im not sure what the exact tech. speak for it is, just looks like I can see scan lines or spaces missing or something).

Anyways. The in game graphics are decent...well...ok...well...not special.
Had some fun, but it really felt like a suped up version of BeachHead in some parts.

Im not sure this is an AAA title in any way. Not bad. Not great. Might like it better if I could play online (Xbox live in SE asia is difficult).

Maybe Im just jaded by games I bought the Xbox for like Panzer Dragoon Orta, Ninja Gaiden, Rallisport Challenge 2 that games like this just make me go "meh".
