So I'm slightly disappointed with KOTOR2..

...because although it has NPCs ten times as interesting and intriguing it unfortunately also has a PC that isn't a tenth as interesting or significant.. The story is yet another matter, it starts out very well crafted and involving, but ends up a ton of loose ends that seem to go nowhere - I'm sixteen hours into the game so far and dealt with two jedi masters, I'm hoping these things will come together, but I don't have much confidence.. I can't help but wish there were characters like Keira, Handmaiden and Bao-Dur in KOTOR1 instead of boring stuck up stereotypes like Carth and Bastilla.. It's almost like Obsidian made great characters but a mediocre plot and hero :/ Does the story regain focus and interest as the game progresses?

I'm personally waiting for some patches before buying, but this Gamespy article has really dampened my interest. I knew bad shit was in the pipeline when the XBox version was moved up to Christmas.

Well after making three KOTOR 2 threads in as many days I must say I loved the game but was disappointed with the bugs and unfinished plots.

The Good
- Interesting NPC’s
- More Defined light and dark side.
- Great Initial Character development
- Voice acting is top notch

The Bad

- Lot’s of Dialogue still in the game despite quests/polts being taken out
- Not enough character development after your initial conversation with most NPC’s
- Bugs Bugs and more Bugs
- Ending that felt rushed and raised more Questions then answered.

I think I will enjoy the game more my 2nd time thought it as I will be more Bug savvy.
