STALKER, FEAR (doubt this will be out in 2005, but maybe), advance wars DS, fire emblem GC. there are some other games I'm looking forward to in the future that I don't think will be out in 2005 like operation flashpoint 2 (this game seems to have dropped off the radar so I'm really afraid it may wind up sucking) and bio shock.

Not enough love for BLACK from Criterion/EA. You've seen Burnout 3, you know what they can do. Black is going to be an order of magnitude greater than that. You thought the physics engine in Half Life 2 was good, Black is a game where every bullet matters, each one of them is your baby.

A couple of other titles seem to be slipping under the radar. Like 24 for instance. Sony has got the licence for the TV series. Sony Cambridge, the guys that coded Primal and Ghosthunter are developing this. Due in time for the next series.

Shadow of Rome, Capcom have got the technology, but Onimusha 3 flopped outside of Japan. This title is aimed at the West, maybe a bit late for the Gladiator vibe, nonetheless, the game engine is cool.

Tomb Raider 6, yeah, I know you're all sick of this series. Maybe Crystal Dynamics can bring it back to life. Amy Henning is the director, they've even got Toby Gard on board as a consultant. It's in nobody's interest to mess this up. I predict a healthy return to form for Lara Croft.

...and about 20 other games. Next year is about as hit heavy for the consoles (PS2, GCN, Xbox and NDS) as this year has been. Craziness.

totally depends on how much freedom Eidos are giving them...

1 per platform

Xbox - Jade Empire

GC - Zelda: I'm a Big Boy Now

PS2 - Wanda/FFXII (okay that's two but really I can't choose).

But goddamn Ico team on the next-gen might not be good. I'll probably end up stabbing my eyes out when nothing else I see compares to the beauty they will cook up.

In order of anticipation:

1. DK Jungle Beat
2. WarioWare DS (other DS games)
3. Zelda
4. Jade Empire
5. God of War
6. Resident Evil 4

Zelda
FF12
RE4
DW8

I'm iffy on God of War, Wanda and Collossus cause I don't know much about them. Rise of Kasai I'm also a little iffy about I LOVED Mark of Kri but I heard they took it in a new direction as far as style...that could be the game breaker for me.

Whats Atelier Iris looks like a Disgaea type game?!
