No, all you need to know is that Harley and Boomerang know each other from the first Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey.

Yeah, critics love the Marvel formula and DC literally brought in a Marvel guy to Marvelize the movie. Classic reviewer manipulation. it was always going to review well.

Bringing in a guy that knows how to make good movies and writes coherent, entertaining scripts also really helps in this regard.
