I read an IGN nterview on XBox's site with Tecmo, and they mentioned Ninja Gaiden DS? Is that true?

Also ... imagine a Tecmo Super Bowl DS .. that would be so kickass.

All we know is that Team Ninja is making a DS game. IGN might have found out more, but it could also just be an assumption on their part.

I'd love to see a non-Madden football game on the DS, NFL license be damned. It's not often that I'm disappointed with a free rental, but that was the case with Madden 2005.

Oh how short some of our memories are. I remember hearing about a new Ninja Gaiden game all the way back in the Saturn days. Then it was gonna be for PSone. Then DC. Then PS2. Then GC. Finally lands on XBox. So until I get confirmation from Team Ninja it is just speculation. For all we know it may not be until GBA2 a new portable Ninja Gaiden game comes out.
