i havent been able to find a rental place that carries this.. but there is a local shop that is selling this movie at about 20 bucks.. is it worth it?

I just searched for it and found a torrent with 7 seeds and 48 leechers. It's a 700 MB file and subtitled, the same one I watched. Check that out first... ;p

Opinions are right down the middle. I think ity's great, and it's one of my favorite movies of 2004.

Watch it somehow before you buy it. The trailer makes it look like an action movie, but I'd say it is more complicated. There are action elements but it's a great deal more meandering and convoluted than that.

Definately has some beautiful set peice moments- glad I saw it.

No!!! Whatever you do, don't buy it. If it wasn't for the visual effects this movie would be on every top 10 worthless-pieces-of-shit list. The story is so contrived and the acting seems so forced that it would have played better if it were in the same vein as the Naked Gun movies. I guarantee you that if this were an American production, it would have been the biggest bomb since Ishtar. Avoid at all costs.
