Well actually it works very logical, a beta is the same as a PSN game. And you all know that PSN games can be shared.
So, just use an account of someone who has a beta key to download the SOCOM Beta. The SOCOM Beta is standing between his download history.
Once you finished downloading you can play the SOCOM Beta on your account as long as the account of the guy with the beta is still standing on your PS3. (When you delete his account the SOCOM beta won't work on your PS3)
It works perfectly, I tried it with a friend and a half hour ago we were playing together ^^
So everyone who has a PS3 can thank me now for my great idea

You don't need any precision to shoot so R1 is closer, easier to press and more appropriate. Not weird at all.The Faceless Master said:

GGs guys (im DirtyWater). Maybe next time you should use the smaller map tho, that was way too big for that many players.
It definitely has the old SOCOM magic to it. If they patch up the rough spots I could easily see this taking my MP crown for the winter, even with R2 and Gears 2 dropping a little later.

I think for the Commandos, there is a similar weapon, the 3rd Machine Gun I believe.
Our team had quite a discussion on the F90 and how overpowered it was for a SMG. No bitching or whining, but it was funny.
And yeah, you were dominating for a while - everytime I killed you I died in return.I'd go on about how awesome my M4 w/ ACOG and Grip is, but RPGs are a lot more fun. :lol

Oh yeah, after most of you had gone - we were left with 5/6 guys against 2 and we ended up talking about rugby, shooting birds, and generally having a laugh because we couldn't find the 2 guys.
My experience with the SOCOM beta really gets across the (rather obvious) message that mics should be mandatory with these kind of games.
