look into 60 years ago.

i have quite the boner for WWII, and i must say, i'd imagine they're well over it by now. but then again, i could be wrong.

Im sure most of them havent even heard the word or know to be offended by it.
 
Most Japanese people will be offended if you refer to them as "Jap" so the safest bet is to stick with JP or JPN.
 
Well, the extra time it takes to type out anese is fucking brutal, you know.
 
The Animal Forest commercials are great. It's like a day in the life of essay that school children in Japan writes.

The theme is very light hearted, fun and quaint. I love it.
 
I don't know what's funnier: an abbreviation of a term offends people because of an archaic usage, or that all the complaintants are in fact not asian.

I'm somewhat offened by it, but I think the people who will be most offended are Japanese Americans who face that kind of racism in their life when anti-japanese feelings were running high.

Things are actually increadibly good for a Japanese in North American right now.

Nintendo isn't kidding when they talk about wanting to appeal to non-gamers. These commercials (except for the DBZ one) really are quieter and more adult than the usual videogame commercials.

Everyone I knew in Japan knew exactly what it meant when a white person called them that. They do get offended. Not sure where people are getting the misinformation that they don't know about it.

the second thing i was asked when i started working over here by the guy who sat next to me was :

"So British people call the Japanese .... Japs? Slit Eyes? or Little Yellow Monkeys?"

I dunno, i'm pretty sure if i called everyone i know a Jap then most of them would be "... wtf did you just call me??"

I don't know anything about Pokemon Fushgi no Dungeon, but it looks cool. I've never played any Magical Dungeon type games, how are the battles done? Do we know if this Pokemon game is any good?
