Weird as always. I'm intrigued however. Can't wait to see how this game turns out and what the fuck it's all about.

I said it before and I'll say it again: the visual style has been overworked to the extent it's just messy now.

I'll still buy it though.

In screens it seems messy, yes, but so did a lot of Viewtiful Joe... at least I thought.
In motion, however, it looks absolutely amazing.

I started getting jaded about this game, all the delays, some subpar screens, etc. But the recent trailers & game impressions have me hyped 100% again. Some of these screens are simply gorgeous & highly stylized, probably the best batch I've ever seen. Possible franchise material?

So has anyone outside Capcom actually played this yet?

Or is it possible that this has been some sort of bizarre three year cock-tease?

Nobody has actually PLAYED the game as in hands on.

I mean, damn--this game has been known for what? Since the Capcom 5 or soon thereafter?

And not even playable.

You'd think that this game would be better than DMC3 and RE4 combined with how long it's been in development.

Also, Production Studio 4 isn't making the game.

It's Grasshoper studio's directed by Suda.

This man has played it and he seems to like it:

The mechanics of the game are as distinctly unique as the plot. To move you sort of choose a path and hold in the A button. You can stop at any point down your path to deal with problems and try and look for clues. The game is full of clues, birds alighting on your shoulder, strange men in leather and chains talking to you, people crawling up walls. ItÂ’s a very interesting game.

The shooting element comes in to play often in the game. You hear maniacl laughter and have to switch to first-person mode and then scan the area. If thereÂ’s something around it will appear shambling toward you with a bomb strapped to its body. To kill it you can shoot away or target the bomb. The more blood you cause to be spilled the better, because you can collect it for use down the line.

This is one of the most stylistic and bloody games IÂ’ve ever seen. For instance, one of you personalities can summon spirits, but to do that she slashes her wrists and splashes the air with gouts of blood.

I think this could be one of the best games to hit the console market this year, so put it on your list.

Oh and check out his website, it's rather good.

This game is just fucked up enough from what I've seen of screen shots (haven't watched any vids yet) to warrant me to at least check it out once it's released. I'm always willing to spend money on games that try break away from current trends, but I'm sure this style WILL become a trend due to copycats.

Holy shit.

I've been wanting this game for a long time. I'm not sure if I care any more about it because of the delays.

It still looks cool.

They need to release this fucking game already.

Just a few months to go. I forget, is the Playstation 2 version coming out in the USA or is it still Cube only over here?

US is getting both versions. Same time, same place, same price.

Still not sure which one I'll get...if the game isn't total crap.

Once again Capcom renders me speechless with new pics, then I scroll down and I see this:

you got a link on that?

AFAIK, from an interview I saw with i believe it was Kobayashi about a month or so ago, he said that the Cube version will be released worldwide in June (or july, whichever) and the PS2 version will come sometime down the line, but they had no timeframe for it.

This game just looks so damn good in motion, I love things that are out there and far from the norm, this should be awesome.

I think the giant-eyed chicks aren't main character type things, i think they're something else really wierd, maybe enemies or some sort of hallucination... in the videos posted on IGN last week, every time Harman came across one of them, he shot it so....

I just watched Trailer 8 for this over on gametrailers, coupled with these new pictures, no matter how ridiculously weird things are looking, I am confident that this game is going to kick all kinds of ass.

Yeah, I couldn't really put into words how good Killer 7 is. The plot is absurdly surreal and the blend of first-person shooter and adventure game is just over the top. I loved it. Oh, I'm the Kotaku guy.

Wow, I was going to make the exact same post. What the hell is that? So out of place and so ugly.

I'm really unclear on how anyone can call this simplistic, cohesive, and largely texture-free art style "overworked". There's nothing messy about these screens. Care to expound upon your thoughts?
