So guys
After some times I decided to turn on my vita to play some vita goodness but I don't know where to start
I need some game recommendations that make my gaming experience on the vita unforgettable

Persona 4 Golden, Shovel Knight and Muramasa: Rebirth are good games.

The Zero Escape series is good, as is the Danganronpa series. You can find many visual novels. There's Oreshika Tainted Bloodlines if you like rpgs. If you haven't owned a PSP, there is a decent selection of backward compatible games.

Soul Sacrifice was a pretty cool game, and the same goes for Freedom Wars. There's plenty more that I am sure others can recommend.

Action: Freedom Wars and Souls Sacrifice Delta.

JRPG: Oreshika.

Puzzle: No more Heroes Allowed.

Robot/Spaceship: Macross Delta.

Those are my favorite exclusive games on it.

Exclusives, unique games, and be the best to play on the platform
Maybe Tearaway and Soul Sacrifice would fit all those criteria? I don't know if it was ported to PS4 later or not.

Games that are really good include:
- Persona 4 Golden aka the best Persona, but it's not really exclusive anymore;
- Stein's Gate but it's a VN (you may not like VN) and it's been ported everywhere now;
- 999 and Virtue's Last Reward;
- Shiren the Wanderer and Spelunky but it's also on Switch now;
- Toukiden, kind of a Monster Hunter style but with demons;

You can also play a ton of good PSP games like Motorstorm, Soul Calibur and many more I forgot.

Exclusive is not a synonym for "good". I suggest spending time playing games that were properly adapted to the support overall, which includes multi-platform games.

Final Fantasy X for example, or Persona 4. Phantasy Star Nova is exclusive, I love this game by the way.
Shiren the Wanderer seems to be well ported as well, still have to get into it.
Stranger of Sword City is a D-RPG, if you like these. It looks great and has none of the stupid underage fan-service most games have on Vita.
Steins Gate and House in Fata Morgana for novels, but not exclusive of course...
Dead or Alive 5+ is the best handheld fighter I have played. A true showcase for the console. But it's Dead or Alive 5, so not exclusive...
You have three Vanillaware games : Odin Sphere, Muramasa and Dragon's Crown. Not exclusive either.
Virtua Tennis 4 and Jet Set Radio are great SEGA arcade games. They run very well.
Rogue Legacy is great on Vita. There is also Darkest Dungeon. Shovel Knight and Iconoclasts (this one is a bit blurry). Timespinner.

There are also MANY games I don't recommend (for technical reasons most of the time), I can elaborate on them if you want.

So many gems on the vita sad that Sony didn't support it longer

I believe MGS Peace Walker is on VITA? Its one of the best games in the series imho.

And if you're willing to try visual novels, i'd add VA-11 Hall-A as a personal recommendation.

It was not officially released on Vita but it is backwards compatible and having a 2nd stick certainly helps!

On top of what was mentioned check out Tearaway
A gazillion PSP games
I really love 2D games like indie platformers on vita, the OLED screen and excellent d pad, it's probably my favorite way to play them. Stuff like Rogue Legacy, Axiom Verge, and Shovel Knight, if you haven't played them already

There's not much to recommend already based on what people have been posting. Tapping into the PSP backlog would be another story though.

Playing Yomawari: Night Alone at the moment. Nice mix between adventure and survival horror. Very atmospheric.

Hotline Miami
Velocity Ultra
And I don't think it's as good as the original but, Velocity 2x

Persona 4 Golden is the best game on the system and my favorite game of all time.
Gravity Rush/Daze is one of the best games on the system, and has so much charm. Kat is the cutest character of this generation.
MGS HD Collection is amazing on the Vita, and my favorite version of 2/3.
Tearaway is great, and fits the Vita way more then when they ported to PS4.
Killzone Mercenary is one of the only handheld FPS to feel amazing, and is one of the best games in the series.

Also

Uncharted Golden Abyss
Soul Sacrifice
Freedom Wars
Hot Shots World Invitational
Touch My Katamari
Wipeout 2048

No one ever mentions this. It's only on the Vita, and it's only possible on the Vita due to its unique hardware features (back touch).
I spent hundreds of hours on it until I got the Platinum. One of the Top 3 Vita-only games IMO. I even like it more than the mainline series which uses standard controls.
