Some Playstation Experience games and developers announced

I'd love PS All Stars 2, especially developed by Ono. I was one of the few who liked the first one and if Ono was involved it'd be even better.

Didn't a PS All Stars 2 image/gif leak close to E3 2014? It could have been fake, but it looked reasonably believeable.

Wasn't the Image for some Tournament they had? I remember something like this, but it probably was fake. Man i played the first All Stars so fucking much a second Game would take up all my time

Ono´s experience would be just what the doctor ordered.

What's this about PS All Stars 2??
If it's real, Sony has to put a LOT behind it. They can't come out weak like they did with the first game especially now that Smash 4 is on it's way and looks spectacular.

I wish I had the hype you guys did. I hope we get a date for Until Dawn. Show us Planetside 2 and maybe some cool online coop game that proves PS+ is a good investment for servers and not just more indie games.

That would be the best direction to take.

Absolutely. They need to distance themselves from Smash Bros. Plus what they had before wasn't special anyways. no reason not to change it up.

PlayStation definitely has enough mascots to make a great party game (as long as they can get Crash, Spyro, etc).

My problems with the game is that it was supposed to be like Smash only with Sony characters, and they removed everything that made Smash any good.

The PlayStation Experience event is just a little more than a month away, and will bring PlayStation fans together in Vegas for a massive consumer event. During the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast, Digital Communications Senior Manager Sid Shuman gave more insight on what we can expect.
It’s like a once in a lifetime event, it’s like a dream come true if you’re a huge PlayStation fan.

It was also mentioned that fans will get the first-ever hands-on with Jonathan Blow’s The Witness on PS4, and the indie presence will be massive. A bit more color was also given on what we can expect for No Man’s Sky, with Shuman explaining that there will be “activities” and “reveals,” while he did not provide any more info on what they will entail. One thing is for sure, according to the folks at PlayStation it’s gonna be a big deal:
It’s gonna be a big deal. This is something we’re all feverishly working towards.

What about PlayStation Vita? Fan of the platform shouldn’t worry. As Shuman himself mentioned in the comments of another PlayStation Blog post.
Vita will definitely be there and in a prominent way. Fear not!

I posted this a page or two ago. It was never really news to begin with.

The Vita comment was mentioned earlier, too.

Sooooooo, it's not entirely out of the question to expect the likes of The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2 and the Shenmue HD Collection? Cool, now I know I won't be let down.

Don't know why anyones getting hyped up for this event. sony has a history of only showing off multiplats and already announced exclusives at this event. dont expect anything new.

Really? What did they show at the last PS anniversary?

And remember, this is not any other game event

Hopefully we get at least two RPG announcements. There is good stuff in the immediate future (Bloodborne, Witcher 3, Dragon Age) coming but I need more.

Guerrilla Games RPG?

Is that Sony JRPG even a thing? I just can't imagine it exists.

Can't think of any other rumours regarding PS4 RPGs.

Eh?! Have they done this before?

Nope, this is the first time that they've ever done something like this. The only other major Playstation specific event is the PS Meeting. But nowadays they tend to only do that when they're announcing a new platform.

I really don't think that they'd be doing something like this if they're just going to show off a bunch of the same games that we've been seeing or a bunch of the same games that people have already been able to play at E3, TGS, PAX, or gamescom.

That's what I thought. What the fuck is gribbles talking about then?

More like in Neogaf, Sony will be crucified here if they dont deliver with all this hype

We do it to ourselves, and we do it every damn time! I agree that I too am keeping my expectations mild (Uncharted 4 gameplay, blowout on The Order, Bloodborne, Tearaway Unfolded - i.e. focusing on games we already know about), but obviously given it's the 20 year event I'm also secretly hopeful we'll get some juicy new reveals.

Have we seen footage from the Ratchet & Clank reboot/remake yet? That's got to be a shoo-in, as it's due next summer isn't it? A new game from their European and Japanese first party teams would be awesome, but honestly I'm not expecting much. I think they would be wise to treat this as a massive E3-size event though; particularly considering they will have the spotlight fully on themselves.
