Even with every little secret and sidequest, I can never, ever imagine the game being 100 hours long. Not a chance, unless you're an incredibly slow player. Of course, I haven't actually played the game...but 100 hours is A LOT.

I'm not trying to piss anyone off (that's just a happy side effect), but I'm kind of glad it was delayed. I was looking forward to the game but not really feeling the hype before, probably because Zelda games have been coming so thick and fast since OoT that it just seemed normal for one to be coming up.

Given that The Minish Cap only came out at the end of last year/beginning of this year, I probably still wouldn't feel hyped for Twilight Princess even after the delay if it wasn't for the fact that the 2D and 3D games feel quite different. It will have been over 3 years since WW by the time it's out, I'm sure I'll be raring for it by then.

You know, for next-gen we might end up with only one zelda game. With all this talk about bigger budgets, bigger teams, and more time needed to create huge games, I could see Zelda revolution taking a really long time and a lot of money.

Nintendo also has handhelds to support. There's Zelda DS. Then of course around 2008/2009 GBA Next. If that machine does 3D on GCN's level we might get a Wind Waker like Zelda. I'm guessing both of those games will be much cheaper than a rev Zelda too so that's another reason why they might not take the time to make a 2nd one for rev.
