Hey guys:
I know what you're saying. Oh great, GMU's gone and fucked up his computer again. I guarantee you that I have my methods of fixing this beast, but this time I'm a little confused. I was trying to do a repair installation on my copy of windows home, which I seem to have to do on a regular basis, but whatever. I got to the part where it asks you whether you install a windows on a partition or fix the old copy on the partition. I had tried the repair feature several times with no success, so I decided to re-install it onto the same partition.
This is where it gets weird. I went through that whole first time using windows bullshit, and I have the whole register within 30 days things still, but when I go into C/program files/ I see all the programs that I had installed on the HDD before I went and did this whole re-install nonsence.
Here's my question. Is it possible for me to utilize all those programs that are still kind of installed on my machine? If so, how do I accomplish this? Does anyone know of the file I need to look for to back-up my old firefox bookmarks? I just really had all my stuff in those bookmarks, and that is really important right now.
Thanx a lot guys.
I promise that sometime during the year I'll build a new computer using no re-used parts. :lol :lol :lol
