I am going on quite a long bus ride in a few days. Since RE: DS is sold out in my city, Vancouver. I am looking at buying one DS game to keep me occupied. Its down to Sonic and AC. Which ones better? I would also appreciate anyother suggestions as well.

AC is fun in short bursts, but since you're going on a long bus ride, I'd get Sonic.

AC is great if you have 30 minutes a day or every couple days to play.

Like siege said get sonic for a long bus trip, the real time nature of animal crossing will make it less playable for a set time period as you will get to a point fairly quickly where you are limited in terms of what you can do because of the real time events.

Correct. Sonic Rush owns, AC:WW is sequel to worst game ever made.

Sonic Rush is a return to form for Sonic games. Although Bebpo complains about some of the designs (specifically around bottomless pits), I think it's fast, extremely well thought out and uses the DS without any of the gimmicks. Best Sonic game since Genesis.

I would say that AC is the better game overall but it is really best played in short bursts. If you are going on a long bus ride, you could play AC for maybe a few hours but after that you will be stuck for things to do because...

A - connecting with Wifi makes the game much more flexible and worthwhile

B - The real time aspect of the game prevents you from being able to see and do different things at will.

So I'd go for Sonic.

I did, they said they were sold out. It's hard to get games in Canada you just never know when the games are comming in.

It's about 1.9 times better than sonic and I liked sonic. Kirby is just really great.

I tired of Sonic after less than an hour. I got to the second level of Sonic's adventure and the first of that lady Hedgehog and never picked it up again. Thankfully, I bought it for $15 and traded it for RE4. I win!
