I understand the whole contract thing. What I'm saying is what happens when he uses up all of the agreed budget and starts asking for more. It's not that big of deal. I'm just legit curious as to how much leeway Sony is willing to give Kojima when it comes to this situation.

This is honestly the best case scenario for Kojima, I don't even want to think about what would happen to him if he went to a publisher like EA/Activision. And dat beard, Kojima has seen some shit and been through some shit you can tell just by looking at him.

TB really needs to chill out, jesus. Whatever this thing is will come to PC eventually. Not everyone can have triple 980s or whatever crazy internet-person-only rig he has. Sony is the only platform holder willing and able to do this for Kojima and the industry as a whole is better for it. I'm just ecstatic that him and his staff will be able to make games once more.

Seriousy, I feel like Totalbiscuit is overreacting. When I read "Console Exclusive" it just sounded like it would be exclusive to PS4, while also being released on PC. I mean this partnership was just announced, we don't have any idea what this project is and probably won't for about 2-3 years.

Helldivers is a Sony IP through and through. I would assume that Sony let them port helldivers because Magicka 2 didn't do too well and they have a good relationship.

I could easily see a deal being made for other titles if both parties are satisfied. Kojima is a fan of Sony and friends with a lot of them. Plus being on PC will probably help sell a million more copies at least.

I am thrilled Kojima escaped the pachinko mines, and got back on his feet so quickly. The Sony support is nice, simply because it means he doesn't need to scale down severely compared to his previous works.
