Looks like Sony has a new camera coming;

Delicious PS4ndwich.

My interest depends on which games receive a patch (i.e. Until Dawn), but I'm a bit disappointed by the design. Oh well, it's not like I'll suddenly lose my original PS4 anyway.

Price is great for sure!

One big meh. The whole thing seemed like nothing more then a HDR TV infomercial. Nothing on specs, nothing on increased framerates, every game showcase was boring as fuck, especially Mass Effect: Andromeda.

That was so confusing....

are they saying playing pro games works like this:

1080p tv - increased visual effects and improved graphics, etc.

4k tv - No increased visual effects but runs at 4k HDR.

or

1080p tv - increased visual effects and improved graphics, etc.

4k tv - increased visual effects and improved graphics, etc. also runs at 4k HDR.

KindaFunny killing it right now. The PS4 Pro seems to be just about displays which isn't gonna make games actually better.

Also apparently many third party aren't interested in doing 4K or HDR and patching older games for a small group of people.

Seems like a pretty weak upgrade to be honest, though that was always kind of expected knowing the rumoured specs. Guess we will have to wait and see what games are using the extra power for, since Sony really didn't do a great job of demonstrating that today.

I'm hoping to hear news of some games getting framerate upgrades later on but right now I'm completely unsold. That price would make it a much easier decision later on though.

So no specs huh? I don't particularly care but I find it strange. Also does this have optical? (Something else I don't care about)

As it stands, even without a 4K TV, the PS4 Pro still seems like a decent proposition. More importantly, though, it seems like they've made the price ridiculously appealing as well compared to the new slim PS4. £90 difference for a much more capable console, that will still play all your old games and only £50 more than the 1TB XB1 S.

It's alright, but nothing that interesting. I'll eventually get one, but I assume the PS5 is the only thing that'll really impress me next. This seems just like what people were saying: a nice little upgrade for more advanced TVs, nothing huge though.

No UHD, no buy. That would be incredibly dumb on their part if they didn't throw it in.

wait wtf...i totally 100% assumed this would be in, and yet looks like maybe not? amazing! and i'm in the same boat as you guys. not much in it for me if it doesn't support UHD BR
