Good question. A Rockstar exclusive for the PS4 would send sales for the system into the stratosphere methinks, providing it turns out good. The Last Guardian on the other hand, I think people generally think back on that game with fonder memories because it got that trailer, whereas Agent was just a quick E3 announcement with a banner in the background and not much else. Plus there's a whole lot more Rockstar games out there than Team ICO ones, so there's that tendency to crave something more that you have less of, and it's been a loooooong time since SotC.

I don't think they usually show stuff like this at E3, but I'm hoping for some Dualshock 4 variants. I think the standard black one is kind of tacky looking, especially with that huge, plain touch pad taking up a lot of space. I've seen other colors in images that look pretty good, but I still feel like the controller could at least look more solid. It still looks like a prototype right now IMO.

Okay, back from work. The new hype train passengers are: SteelAlchemist, MaximumSpider, TetraGenesis, LAA, Robbok, Goldenhen, and Sidewinder.
Yeah I hope the red and blue ones are available by the time I get my PS4 in September. They make the controller look so much better.

IIRC he was just saying it's being developed. I wouldn't expect to see it until 2015 or 2016.
I don't think he actually said it's being developed, more like that it'll happen/they're thinking about doing it.

He's gotta land somewhere, and that non-compete is up. Ubisoft took his project anyways!
I dunno, he's not gonna stay small-scale, I don't think. Too much experience heading up big studios. So whatever he does will be a larger team.

Well, he'd have to be willing to move out of Canada to start.

Looking at the posts again, he doesn't specifically say it's in development, but he hints quite heavily at it. And he did say it's nowhere near a reveal.

Sony or UBI? UBI I think would care given that they bought the studio that the guy established at THQ and then fired him and canned his game. There seem to be some very real hatred on both sides of that issue.

It's not like Ubi are going to throw Sony an ultimatum if they hire him. I really don't see the connection as to why Ubi would turn sour towards Sony because they hired a bloke they fired, it's not like he would be involved in any Ubi/Sony proceedings.
How so? It would be odd for him to work remotely. Unless you're suggesting Sony open a new studio in Canada, which we both know isn't going to happen.

Indeed. I'm also not a huge fan of the sticks. I find the surface too slippery and find myself having to "reset" my thumbs to the center of them too frequently.

How did they ignore Vita? They showed some games and pushed the Remote Play feature. I mean what else would you want them to do with a platform that sells 10k a month in the US?

They have had multiple studios in the UK for the past couple of years, until now notorious for it's awful tax breaks, whereas there is some ridiculous tax benefits over in Canada. Something like 20% isn't it?
To be fair, nothing is impossible. It wouldn't be the first time a man moved his family across the globe for a job opportunity.
