I would say that most people shitting on VR in this thread have never tried it and honestly it's one of those things you have to try. This will be the absolute key to selling it.

Trying to explain VR to my wife nearly impossible, putting on the Oculus Dev Kit on her head and letting her try it? Instant reaction.

So no, VR isn't going to be DOA much to the dismay of the armchair CEO's in here, you just have to try it.
