Wasn't Zoetis vetted by mods, so he obviously is someone in the know, at least when it comes to Sony?

I expect Sony will pull at least one shocker out of this event.

Thanks for the reply guys. Not really crazy about Quantic Dreams but the rest sound interesting. I'm quite looking forward to this!

Shu mentioned recently that this is basically their Gamescom presser, at least in positioning, and these SCEE conferences are always chock full of new announcements.

I can't even fathom how but it seems eerily quiet, just like how E3 was and then nuclear bomb after bomb from SCEA. Very little hype again, very little talk, Sony mouths zipped tightly shut.

Either were in for another lightning striking of a show or SCEE os simply too busy trying to choreograph Jim Ryan's pole dance routine for the stage.

well I don't think it will match hype levels, but I think first party reveals will be more popular. Honestly, just having nice trailers for a lot of stuff and seeing gameplay of announced stuff will be better than E3. I'm not taking anything away from e3, its where u start the hype train, but its pretty easy to type, just show off how awesome these games are actually going to play = win.
 
My guess for PGW :

- Quantic Dream's new game reveal
- Another announcement in the scale of Until Dawn/Wild.
- Driveclub Expansion
- 1-2 smaller scale projects ala Alienation/Helldivers.
- Gameplay reveal for Wild/Rime
- Blowout on Dreams with a alpha/beta announcement for early 2016
 
I agree, but its a pretty bold statement to make that PGW will top E3 following a conference that literally will be the benchmark for years to come.

We got announcements of:

Horizon
The Last Guardian
Dreams
Final Fantasy 7 remake
Shenmue 3

All in one conference which is astounding.

To even match such a simply crazy lineup will be something just as crazy.

Hopefully a story trailer for Uncharted 4. So excited to see the villains..

I can see this being realized. As much as I want to say GT7 will be there as well, I think they'll save that for PSX along with Sony Bend.

I wouldn't expect GT7. The owner of GTplanet told people to not book any trains headed to Paris this year when people were discussing hype trains for potential announcement events. But he apparently did "like" a post from someone that asked if they should book one to PSX.
 
I cant see why Capcom couldn't use an event of this magnitude (really only PGW and PSX left for this year, TGA's too) to launch a kickstarter for a revival of Dino Crisis.

Use the event to generate hype and watch the money flow in.

I'd support in a heart beat.
 
I am not expecting anything bigger than Quantic dreams new game.

The conference is at their home so they probably wouldn't want anything to overshadow their game

Stop. no need to see any single player footage from U4, we've seen enough, I'm not looking forward to this at all, it's just tempting me to spoil more of the game.

I want to mainly see QD's game, I'm expecting near CGI quality visulas going by their early and incredible tech demo.

The Dark Sorcerer tech demo was great and surprisingly funny. I hope their PS4 game has a similar tone.
 
It's Europe, they NEED to show GT7.

We are two year into the current gen. and there hasn't been a peep.......

We have seen the new combat system with psx, the new set-piece design philosophies at E3; I just want to see the new exploration gameplay and then I am ready until launch :).
 
All our dreams came true on E3. Only stuff left we can hope for is:

Crash Bandicoot PS4
Gran Turismo 7
Motorstorm
FF12 HD
Quantic Dream new IP


I also can't wait to finay see what Dreams is all about! <3
 
I wonder if they will announce God of War IV this year? Considering it is probably a March 2017 game, going by the series history, and the comment about being very present at PSX 2015 made by Santa Monica, I dont know what to think.
