Sony Playstation: First Party Studios & their Current Projects

There is a trademark for Sony SIE with the name Gnomageddon or something similar. All I know is that something with gnome has been rumored for some time. It could be a Japan Studio game, I am guessing this based on their history with games like Puppeteer and Knack.

its some old concept arts. They dont even relate between themselves and even less with the Gnomageddon name tbh

Yeah, I definitely think we're going to get an update on Knack 2 at some point this month. The game will obviously playable on the show floor, though.

I agree on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Knack 2 not being in their press conference. Strongly disagree that The Last of Us 2 won't be there. I'm not expecting them to show gameplay, but I'll be surprised if they show nothing. Death Stranding I'm a bit more mixed on. They still likely won't have much to show, but I can see them have a a trailer where someone is teasing the story while they just slowly move the camera around a couple of characters. I'm leaning towards Death Stranding being there because the VGA's will probably get something from Death Stranding there.
 
I think TLoU 2 won't be there, unfortunately. I really like to see what David Cage exactly cooks.

My guess/wishes for exclusives:

- Sucker Punch's new ip for the opening.
- Days Gone gameplay.
- Uncharted: The Lost Legacy gameplay.
- Death Stranding cinematic/gameplay trailer.
- God of War gameplay (can't wait.)
- Detroit story trailer ( I just want a cinematic trailer with epic direction, music and top notch visuals. No gameplay. I really don't care about gameplay for this game.)
- Spiderman Gameplay.
- Bloodborne 2 announcement (10% possibility!)
- And the ending goes to:
Red Dead Redemption 2.
It's not an exclusive tho, but it could be an amazing ending.

Actually Novo means new in portuguese. In Spanish would be Nuevo. Also, Nouveau in french, Nuovo in italian and Nou in catalan. All come from the Latin Novus. I'm sure there are more but that's all I know :P

It's also "novo" in Galician, "novu" in Corsican and "nou" in Romanian. Incidentally, the Latin "novus" shares the Proto-Indo-European root that gives the Greek "neos", Irish "nua", German "neu", Danish/Swedish/Norwegian "ny", Dutch "nieuw", English "new", Polish "nowy" and also the Sanskrit "nava". Only Basque and the Finno-Ugric languages use different roots, in Europe, if I'm not mistaken.

I definitely spend too much time conlanging.

No way Kojima wont show DS off at E3. I want to believe TLOU will show up. They'd kill the momumentum by skipping E3, and waiting until the end of the year.

Me too! I think we will see it, for sure. Sony and From would be silly not to develop a sequel. It had massive acclaim and sold very well.

I think it's quite high. The game sold very well and was a massive success. It's been over two years since the game launched and From has two teams.

BRING ON BLOODBORNE 2!!!!

Nice info! I thought that new came from the same root but wasn't sure if was through the normans invasion or what. I read somewhere that the indo-european theory was challenged and maybe debunked, but haven't find a good documentary about it. Or about the proto-languages in general tbh
 
I dont think there will be BB2. Miyazaki never work on sequel and I dont think it's gonna change anytime soon. However, there might be another Sony-From game announced at E3.
 
I hope there isn't a Bloodborne 2. In that it's the same universe/style.

Give me something new and fresh like Bloodborne though. It can be called Bloodborne 2, but just different in setting/lore please.

The Dark Souls sequels biggest weakness were how hampered down they were to an existing universe. I want something wild and crazy like Bloodborne and it's cosmic horror lore.

Eh, it's an okay topic and despite us all being firmly in the Sony camp it's okay to post in there so long as you don't be a dick about it. There's plenty of stuff the Xbone does well (refunds, BC in particular), but for me it really lacks when it comes to exclusive software and Japanese games. I've never had any confidence in Phil Spencer, but if he's got any secret software in the works this E3 is the time to go all out.

I'd love more Bloodborne if they went fucking crazy with the cosmic horror. Give me full on monstrosities from beyond the stars that cannot be defeated with any human weapons and drive you mad just to look at them. Give me crowds of NPCs who worship the unspeakable horrors. Give me powerlessness and fear and huge levels like Central Yarnham and Forbidden Woods filled with vile deformed beasts. Let's have one more Bloodborne where Miyazaki and his team go all-out with the horror and frightening imagery!
 
I hope that after the success of the Nsane trilogy they realize the potential of a Ctr remaster. Sony doesn't have a kart game right now, the interest for Crash is high, Ctr is the goat ( ;P ) and I think I've read they even have the rights for the original game.

YES! The bold really reflects what I didn't care for in DS2 and DS3, there just wasn't much more to explore after DS1.
This goes for a DeS sequel, I don't want it. Give me something new From, it can feel familiar mechanically, but new world/lore is what i crave!
Though I would take a DeS and DS1 remaster for ps4.

I would love to see SEGA remastering All Stars on 1080p @60 with an enhanced online mode.
It would be all that I need to fill the kart gap on PS4.
