Ughh one week to see previews come up is a long time
Like I said dude, blerghhh at waiting for impressions😑It's 2 days, so-
Day 1: play a bit
Day 2: play a bit
Day 3: go back home
Day 4-5: edit video/write impressions/etc
Day 6-7: weekends + overtime for slow writers/video editors
Day 8: preview drop
Seems like it's rather meaty if they're doing two days of events, ( that or different press for different days) so unfortunate, but it's about the right timing for these kind of stuff. =/

I'm hoping if they're really confident with their game, they drop the reviews two weeks before release. Help feed into the hype cycle for the gameI wonder when the reviews will be going live. It often happens a week or two ahead of launch if it's a big Sony game they have confidence in.

I do actually think there's a discussion to be had here. I wouldn't push the game back, rather I'd bring it forward if there's any possibility. The problem is that Horizon is scheduled to launch on the same week as the Switch and Zelda, and while the PS4 install base vastly outstrips that of the Switch's, the problem is that all media attention will be focused on the new console (naturally), and Horizon is in danger of becoming an afterthought.
Nice OP update, well done. Although I don't really think the Verendus references should be left in anymore.
So guys the Op got another redesign.
Neogaf User mitverachtung offered me his help to make it look more professional !
Thanks again to him for the nice work
Hope you like it aswell
Also: Cambridge is out of the list![]()
Nice update though. A couple of additional changes I'd make: Remove Wattam and Modern Zombie Taxi Co. because they're no longer Sony published. And change Drawn to Death, as it isn't going to be F2P anymore. Otherwise, it's good.
It still mentions Guerrilla Cambridge in the # of employees at GG, and I also agree that the rumours should probably be taken out unless there are better sources (he was always very sketchy on the big JRPG anyway). Also, I believe North-West Studio is now called Manchester Studio?
It's called Manchester Studio now.Studio: North West Studio
History: new Stundio founded in 2015 -> Focus on VR Games
Playstation 4 Projects:
--> working on a VR Game
--> brand new IP
--> Unreal Engine 4
--> Studio Ghibli Style?
It's called Manchester Studio now.
Few suggestions for the OP (great job btw!):
1) Perhaps put the Metacritic for Infamous: First Light in the Sucker Punch category.
2) Get rid of Gravity Rush 2 for Sony Japan PS4 projects since it has released.
3) Change Drawn to Death to 17 since it's no longer 2016. Also, I was watching him stream Bloodborne, and he says we "should" be getting Drawn to Death "soon" and news about its release soon, so I'm thinking 2017 will be the release.
4) Change Wild's release date to 2017 since it's no longer 2016.
Really love the effort of this thread.
Change for the OP: It still says "Confirmed: Gran Turismo Sport - Release November 2016" - that obviously didn't come to pass, so it should be changed.
I think Sony is also collaborating with Ninja Theory on Hellblade. They are always uploading their newest videos on the official YT PlayStation channel.
Well, the game is a PS console exclusive, and it was announced at their Gamescom conference as such
yeah but I cant find the game/studio below collaborations.

Thats because its not a Sony game. Ninja Theory owns it
They do have some kind of deal, but not in that way

Great work mate, this thread keeps on giving <3
Thread is missing Crash Remaster and Wipeout aswell locoroco etc... Can you add those?
Also Ni Oh is missing, Sony is publishing it.

Both, the Crash Remaster and WipEout are not first party.
The Crash remasters are developed by Vicarious Visions and the WipEout remasters are developed by Clever Beans and EPOS.
But Locoroco, Patapon and Rapappa the Rapper are pretty much first party (Japan Studio), yes. I'll have that in mind. Thanks for the note!
Wipeout is first party dude; it's probably Sony's oldest active franchise. Just because it's not developed internally doesn't make it not-first party.

Locoroco, Patapon and Rapappa the Rapper remasters are not beeing handled by Japan Studios though. Dave Thach's SpecOps team is the one handling those

It doesn't matter how you feel on the topic. It's a PlayStation exclusive game series, but the Omega Collection is not in first-party development
since the WipEout developer was closed in 2012. The Studio developing the Omega Collection is a
third-party studio.
This also applies to Crash Bandicoot. Its a PlayStation exclusive games series formerly developed by
Naughty Dog. But the developer of the Crash N-sane Trilogy is Vicarious Visions and part of Activision.
This means the N-Sane Trilogy is in third-party development too.
If the developer is not part of Sony in any way its exclusive but not a first-party game regardless of the IP.

It's the same team in charge of the PSN Classics and stuff IIRC.
That's not how it works. Games like Heavy Rain, Beyond and Detroit are 1st party IPs as well. R&C and others too, but all are developed by 3rd partys. They are in this thread because they're first party IPs developed by 3rd party partners.
So yes, the WipEout Collection should be listed (in the 2nd post from OP).
I am trying to find a source for this, but everything is vastly outdated. Can anyone point me to something about the game? Does it still live?
Yeah, first party is not about studios really, is about IP. Until Dawn is a SIE first party game IP developed by a third party developer (Supermassive). Some like to call this a ''second party'' deal, even though is not really a thing in this medium
And if you want to go technical enough, you will also find that every game in a situation like this has some SIE internal producers as well, so they would even fit in the ''first party is only if internal Sony teams are working on it'' mentality
Yep, the same team that does the PS2-PS4 stuff
I want this to live up to the CG, something like that in 3D would be spectacular.
