Sony Santa Monica announced the move to a completely new studio back in January. The new location in Playa Vista is bigger and includes a state-of-the-art recording studio and is close to a new motion capture studio which will also be used by Naughty Dog.
At long last the time for the big move has come, and according to the studio’s Twitter account, Friday will be the last day at work in the old location, while next Monday the cogs of creativity will start spinning in Playa Vista.
Interestingly, we also get confirmation that a new Studio Tour video is also “absolutely” coming, giving us a chance to check out the new place. Hopefully when everything will be settled, the studio will be ready to announce the secret project it has been working on.

Hopefully they have gotten their shit together after the round of heavy layoffs in Feb, and can announce their next project, or tease it in some fashion soon.
