Tucking settings and various other necessary "apps" away is ridiculous.

Press the menu button at any point on the home screen, and it pulls up the Settings screen prompt. You don't need to choose it from "Games and Apps."

Too many button presses to get to places. Just a poorly designed UI in terms of menus and ease of use. I miss the Xbox 360's UI.

What certain things? I find placement of things on PS4 is much better than the convoluted layout on XB1.

Like the default Sony apps (music, tv)...you can't delete it or hide it...it's just taking up place and annoys me. Also, the lack of folders or pinning whatever apps/games you want as a shortcut is inconvenient. I would rather have a shortcut section on the left with "Games Library" and a separate one right below it with "Applications".

I love the PS4, but I just think Sony can work on making the overall UI more...slick and stylish (personal opinion). I like what Microsoft has done with the whole Metro styled theme.

I might be in the minority, but I'm a clean/organization freak... I hate having things in a straight one sided line. I'd like to have these "things" organized to my preference.

Here's something I need to know is there anyway to turn off that godawful sound that plays in the background? (Inb4 use your tv's mute button) Why would they add in such a horrible sound that has to play constantly?

Go to Settings, then Sound and Screen, and you can turn off Background music. Also turn off Keytones if you want while you're there. (I always turn off keytones LOL)

I agree, owning both consoles, the UI of the Xbox One makes me want to use it more especially with the monthly additions.
