Soundbar recommendations?

Anyone here just use a soundbar for their speaker setup? Looking to have a better setup in one of the game rooms. At the moment I just use the tv audio on my TCL 55". Looking for something better than just my tv audio. I still need to buy the mounting shelf. I have an idea which one of those to go with. But not sure what would be a good quality sound bar. I don't need anything too crazy. Just something that would be a noticeable upgrade on the tv audio.

I have a Samsung HW-B550D for one of my TVs and it sounds very good. It's 3.1 and the center speaker helps when it comes to dialogue in films and shows. Great bass as well.

I think they might be currently sold out, but there are other similar models.

Vizios to me make the best most affordable soundbars. sony, lg and others are too expensive. you can literally get a 5.1 system for the same price as a sony 3.1 system.

i am currently rocking this bad boy. bounces audio off the ceiling. thunderstorms, planes and other atmos audio is just amazing.

Sadly they dont make it anymore, but the newer ones are much cheaper and still bounce the audio off ceilings, just not the rear speakers.

Value for money probably mid end Hisense soundbars, which will be the same price as Samsungs low end.

Try AX5125H if possible, but HS2100 is very bassy but clear for very low money.

If you can afford Saturn from them its very very good, reviews are on youtube.

I have Samsung S800C and it is amazing. The Dolby Atmos is somewhat limited, but most soundbars without rear speakers suffer from this. However, it is still very noticable in games that take advantage of it (like BF6 and hearing helicopters / jets above you). Anything you buy will be an upgrade over TV audio though. Obviously, the bigger the budget, the bigger the upgrade.

Got a Samsung Q990F in Black Friday sales for 50% off. Pretty excellent bar with insane bass. It still sounds good even with the moderate bass option enabled in the app, which disables the subwoofer outright and routes it all through the bar. It also prevents the guy in the apartment below from threatening to kill me when I game at night, which I consider a win.

I had a bad experience with klipsch... lots of others with power supplies that take a shit.

I had klipsch 2.1 speakers for my PC and they randomly died at the 1 year mark. They weren't going to replace them for me but I bitched and explained the bathtub curve for hardware failure and eventually they just gave in. But now this 2.1 has been backordered. It's been almost 2 months now. Still no speakers for my pc.

And my speakers were plugged into a surge strip that was plugged into a very beefy and expensive UPS for my pc. No reason it should die like that.

Sonos was clearing out a bunch of old their old stuff like the Arc and Beam 2 for firesale prices (under $500). There are still some refurbs at $550 which is pretty reasonable, and their refurbs are excellent quality if you buy directly. They get a big upgrade if you pair a sub with them (even a Mini), but I ran one on its own for a while and it was still excellent. The wide soundstage and Dolby Atmos compatibility are the selling points.

I hear good things about Samsung's offerings but I don't have any experience with them.
