I'm only watching this right now, but the "you have 875,000 friends" with Stan looking angrily at it had me lolling :lol
fisheyes said:It was ok. I got a feeling of familiarity with it, which kind of made it funny (I was one of those people that thought the whole social networking stuff was retarded, then got kinda sucked in to it), but it wasn't particularly hilarious. Especially after last week's episode.
200th episode next week, yes? That should be an epic one.

This. I kinda hoped this episode would be a "possible in real-life" story, and the whole facebook thing was like that. I recognized many people's views on the networking site, but taken to the extreme off course for parody. The moment Tron came into play, it became more of a fantasy story again. It was still enjoyable, but not that funny.Foliorum Viridum said:It was good until it went into a Tron parody. Laughs stopped there.

Weird, I posted that, almost word for word on Facebook Monday when commenting on someone's status that had to do with Chatroulette.parasight said:Cartman: This is the way the world works, if you want want to fine some quality friends you have to wade through all the dicks first.
Loved that line.

Yeah, didn't like the episode that much. Definitely think it's the weakest this series.KimiSan said:I got all the references, but I didn't find the episode funny.
It was just half-assed jokes which strength was supposed to be in the fact they're references - but they were poor one at best. They weren't really making fun of anything in particular and the plot itself wasn't funny either.
Chatroulette was just one incredibly obvious joke again and again, how is that funny.

Agreed. That episode was on a level of hilarity that you very rarely see.Anth0ny said:Good episode, but I have a feeling the KFC episode won't be topped for a long time :lol

Totally agreed.Net_Wrecker said:The funniest things about the Facebook episode were Stan's reactions. His facial expressions, responses, and the way he sat at the computer all pissed off were perfect.
whytemyke said:Yeah, awesome episode. Cartman doing the Mad Dog show was hilarious, especially with all the shitty sound effects and the "Casa Bonita" reference :lol
Mecha-Streissand reference, wow!Stormwatch said:http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/267115
