I'm in on team A, however Kojima will never show his hand this early. We won't know until shortly before the game releases, and it will be from leaked copies being played.

I have a feeling they want to reveal it at Gamescom. Konami press release said "We're in for a Solid treat" sure it could mean nothing yeah the game is called Metal Gear SOLID bla bla ... we'll see. :)

tried to replay mgs4 as im going through a mgs phase.

literally cant play it, i find it so unplayable. gameplay is so clunky with horrible controls, and map design is so boring and linear compared to ground zeros or the other mgs games.

Ok, seriously now the mission briefing cutscenes are so fucking long and pretty boring. I give you that but you gotta play through the game just because of the endfight and ending.

It's so goddamn amazing and you know it, because it's a replay.

Yeah, I'm just gonna have to ignore MGS threads before release. I want a MGS2 level of surprise (if it's there).

i mean it's a movie so it is "unplayable" Kappa lol, but yeah i understand what you're saying, the only reason to go over MGS4 is to have an overall understanding and a sense of closure with the series. i remember saying that Kojima original vision for MGS3 and MGS4 was the exact same for TPP but due to hardware constraints it was impossible to do.

MGS3 was supposed to be ps3 game scratch that, and from initial trailers of MGS4 i think kojima got ahead of himself but once he saw the final specs he couldnt achieve it..matter of fact ill blame the cell for that since TPP is a cross gen game

the fight at the end is very cool, but i'm kinda split on how i should feel about it. on one hand, its really cinematic and it's a huge nostalgia fest, but on the other hand in terms of game design i feel like any boss fight should be using your experience to overcome a challenge, with mgs4 they just throw you a new control scheme; almost admitting that the cqc system in the game is trash and not building on any of your experience throughout the game.
