Lol... a little to farfetched.

Venom Snake is just an allegory, of the poison of having everything he cares for being taken away. Being taken away by the politics of goverments. That is why he despises the gov and disbands himself and his army from any political ties. They are independent. He is not cold... i think he cares about his men... and the whole we are diamon dogs is very very meaningful. They even mention him wanting to take Paz out at the start of GZ...but in his mind he believes the betrayal has no quarters. Its the worst thing that can happen. Specially when political forces are behind it.

I think Kojima is trolling. He prbly respects and finds amusing this kind of tin foil hat theories, and why would he retweet it and get attention to it if he thought it was on the right track.

So far, i think in every single showing of the game from GZ to MGSV he has been called BB if i am not mistaken.

It makes sense to see the downfall of BB as his morality and justice aligns to to a more villan like attitude. Its even clear when he has a nuke and is trying to hide it in motherbase.

Lol.. they even discuss the chopper similarities and motherbase alert call being the same.

Also.. we did see the coma trailer after beating GZ. they are saying that Big Boss could be cloned to have a full made man after the 9 years. Then why is Liquid and Solid kids?
 
I was reading a wiki entry on MGO...
damn, you could make your own character and give him speeches? That sounded awesome.
I really hope that MGO3 keeps all of that and isn't just the mother base infiltration stuff. I've never gotten to play mgo2 or 1.

After the Silent Hill reveal, I don't even know what trolling is according to Kojima. He is reached new heights.

I dont know man. There is something strange in TPP and when we play it, our brains will burst out and that brain will take out its brain...Ye don't even think about analyzing what I said lol.

I agree.. he is quite the master of trolling.

But tbh... the whole storyline of MGS is very convoluted. Its very farfetched specially towards the end of MGS4. I mean.. he put liquid in ocelots arm because he was sad he killed liquid. So by doing that Liquid would be back and bring more "impact" to the story. I think its kinda sloppy.

But i think with GZ and TPP he is trying to tie loose ends and really come full circle. Adding another clone of BB and you playing as him would be very weird.

Also.. they are picking apart Kojimas story, which is already full of plot holes. Like the whole vietnam war presence of BB but he was in a coma.

and they top it off with BB being Frank Jaeger... why would they look the same?

Also.. they went over Frank Jaegers story in Portable Ops. no?

Well, yeah, but was the headshot damage insane in MGO like it is in PW? Everyone in that game uses this one gun and they can headshot kill with one or two bullets.
I'd imagine CQC'ing was a lot better in MGO too.

Frank Jaegers' story in Portable Ops is most likely non-canon. Ye they used some parts from Portable Ops in their theory.

But as I said man, you never know with Kojima. He is been trolling real hard with his fans ever since TPP at VGA 2012 and I am sure there is one twist that will blow our heads off. In fact, I am sure Kiefer said in one of the interviews with IGN that there is a cool little secret.

And I think Kojima's tweeting of Yongyea and PhythonSelkanHD videos are a misdirection to let people think that they are correct. I am sure it will be something else, but there is a twist. One cannot deny that!

Yes.. of course... me realizing it was BB in MGS3 when he gets poked in the eye was mind blowing. So i am sure there will be several twists. Even GZ was interesting. It was less about BB and more about Paz and Chico, and it was really really revealing. How they think, feel and come to be in GZ. I thought it was great.

But Grey Fox looking exactly the same as BB is just... ridiculous. They go and take the lyrics of the songs verbatim. Kojima went over the way he put his trailer together... and i don't think he was thinking about suggesting bb is an abandoned child hence meaning he is frank jaeger.

LOL! they are even saying that Snake being able to sprint, and reflex mode ties to Grey Fox enhancements. o_O

This video is just giving me a headache.

Both of these things are correct. You gotta keep moving and hope the lag don't snag you.
 
There is something that differentiates Venom Snake from Big Boss, but that would only make sense. Big Boss was a bad guy in original MG (MGS4 fucked up everything). In GZ he's still the good guy, so TPP is where his mind needs to snap and he starts to declare war. There is a twist ofcourse, but taking Gray Fox into this would not make much sense. Gray Fox was a subordinate of Big Boss in MG2, and was much younger too.
 
I love that latest GameSpot preview where they toy with idea of Kojima having to explain thousands of Snakes and mother bases existing in the world. Pretty sure that's only a mother base multiplayer thing and doesn't need to make sense.

Besides, something similar was already done in PW.

yeah, in peace walker when you're trading with mother base...are you trading with other BB clones???? OMG the theories are correct! /s

the idea of gray fox looking like big boss, and by extension solid snake is silly. big boss resembling solid snake so much was already silly. as crazy as kojima is, i don't think he'd try to make it that ridiculous just for the sake of a twist. the only reason he made big boss so similar to solid was because of the fan backlash after mgs2.

there will be a twist, of course, it's metal gear. but it will be more straight forward and mgs3-ish. and big boss will be big boss throughout the game, and he's the same big boss who becomes the villain in MG1/2

Well according to PythonSelkan's theory, Gray Fox is being brainwashed by Psycho Mantis into believing he's Big Boss. He claimed in that video that the Volgin hallucination is one of the things that represents Mantis forcing Big Boss's memories into his mind, whereas we've been told Snake starts the game with memory loss and regains them.
