Sphinx

Sphinx was excellent. The interior environments are wonderful, the combat is pretty fun, and the puzzel solving is entertaining and is paced perfectly. The Gamcube version is the only one I played. The sound and music is really good. They don't use DPLII but their own surround format and works really well.

The only negative I can think of is that the first 15 minutes are not very good. The moment you first get to be the prince the rest of the game picks up and then moves to finish strong. One of the few games in the last 2 years I bothered completing.

Picked up a brand new Cube copy today for $15. Getting to be very hard to find on the Cube, methinks.

Batman Begins. I think the Sphinx team is doing that, actually.

really I did not know this, I saw some pictures in a magazine thought the graphics look good but kinda blew the game off cause it was just another movie game now I'm going to have to look into it

I was never quite sure, is Sphinx more linear platformer/action or more nonlinear adventure? Is it like Zelda in that you can go all over a big world, do sidequests and that sort of thing?

no there are levels

you kind of go back and forth

play a level as Sphinx then a level as the Prince/Mummy and back and forth sort of thing

the Sphinx levels are the action ones with alot of fighting and platforming the Mummy ones are sort of puzzle solving/platforming
