This looks like it is going to have the same problem as Wreck It Ralph. A really surprisingly good first movie and then a follow up that is trying way too hard.

The Leap Of Faith is still one of the greatest moments in any superhero movie, and the whole of the first film is great. I'll definitely be seeing this.

I love the first Spider Verse movie. My son and I have watched it over and over.
Just not feeling this from the trailer, at all.
I will absolutely watch this either way - could just be a shitty couple trailers I hope.

Was super hyped then I saw a BLM sticker on Miles' binder. Almost killed the entire movie for me. I always saw Miles as better than some average victim trash.

The first was good, definitely interested in this.

But was the first movie this focused on comedy? this trailer really played a lot on humor, maybe a tad too much.

Honestly, the first Spiderverse film had a garbage trailer as well. It wasn't until reviews came out raving about it that I gave it a look.

I personally support BLM but that other trans bullshit ? Nah I can't.

I won't let it affect my experiences of the movie, but it still annoys me that I can't watch a movie without being reminded of the real world.
