Basically they state the obvious that the levels are smaller and no free roaming like the consoles. Pretty small review as well.

Does THUG PSP have free roaming? I remember reading something about how the constant loading from disc would drain the battery.

That is a pretty short review, though I'd imagine Nix would be facing a rather large mountain of work right about now.

Like I said in Marty's thread, I'm thrilled that I won't be forced to play another mediocre Spider-Man title this year.

Oli, Marty says that THUG 2 is exactly like the console incarnations. So, yea.

Yeah that's great news. Sign me up for the exact same game but for ten dollars more on a 2 inch screen. Score!

One copy of Lumines, please. I'll see the rest of these games in the bargain bin.

Just as a side note-this topic as gotten me thinking about what game ahs been on the most systems.

You can play Spider-Man 2 on the PS2,Xbox,Gamecube, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PC, and the N-Gage.

Is any other game available on more then 8 systems?

Hopefully, the harshness will get the message through to developers...
Unfortunately, derivative ports tend to be the most viable business model on handhelds and with PSP's console level resource demands, that won't be changing any time soon. Historically for handhelds most of the original content tends to come from the hardware manufacturer (Nintendo, SNK, Sega, Bandai, etc) with "pet projects" from influential game makers on occasion (Kojima's Boktai, Inafune's Rockman.EXE, Mizuguichi's Lumines, etc).

I hate to say this, but the port of THUG 2 I'm playing right now is awesome. It helps that I never played the console version though.

I think Puyo Pop Fever equals or betters it. It's not on the N-Gage, but there was a limited Dreamcast run I think.
